Chris Collins, R-N.Y., will be indicted by the Justice Department on insider trading charges, federal prosecutors announced Wednesday morning. The indictment relates to "securities of Innate Immunotherapeutics ... an Australian biotechnology company on whose board of directors Christopher Collins served," the DOJ said. b_m_b_m_b_m
I'm amazed the effect is so little Good thing Dems in NJ nominated a senator who narrowly avoided being convicted of corruption charges, so we can run an anti corruption campaign with credibility

They campaign against the scandal-ridden Republican and scandal-ridden Trump, and they can avoid saying anything good about Menendez. It seems sillier that a possible presidential candidate like Booker stood by him, though.

Thereby creating super red districts like this.
BuckFly
He's from my district. We know him. My siblings know him better. Western New York is heavily red, except for the City center areas, like Buffalo.

Ricofoley
Megan McArdle, who wrote an absolutely nuclear-level take after the Grenfell Tower tragedy in Britain, has decided that the best use of her column space today is to tell her readership that, actually, insider trading is fine and good https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-partisan/wp/2018/08/09/show-me-the-victims-of-insider-trading-ill-wait/?utm_term=.5188093604a0
CitizenVectron
Even if there are no victims of an event, that doesn't mean that the event is okay. Taking advantage of a position of power or knowledge to enrich your friends and family when no one else can do the same thing is wrong and causes harm.
