I so hate articles like this talking about towns of as few as 2,000 people and as few as 6,000 jobs being lost as if that even tips the scale in comparison to the ~7 million jobs lost over the last year. Biggest gripe i have with the article is the headline is super misleading, the article itself makes it clear these people were in trouble long before Biden's order, lol. This issue specifically is nonsense, drilling isn't happening because theres a massive oversupply of both oil and gas right now, to the point where wells are being capped off or just let bleed off cause it costs too much to even sell it, lol.
