I think nowadays, Godzilla is absorbing radiation so she shouldn't be exuding it. Her atomic breath should totally leave a deadly amount of radiation behind, though. She? The only Godzilla I know that laid eggs was the American Godzilla and they even considered THAT one male for some weird reason.
Brick
Plus the Japanese hated that American version so much they removed "God" from his name, and there was a movie where Godzilla beats the shit out of Zilla.

Brick
Yeah I remember liking the movie as a kid because, hey, big monster, but looking back at it, it's not a good Godzilla movie, if you can even call it a Godzilla movie. The cartoon that came from it though was pretty good.

Greatoneshere
Nice to see director Adam Wingard get a win after the back-to-back critical failures of Blair Witch and Death Note (I'm a fan of his due to You're Next and The Guest).

skillzdadirecta
Two minor dislikes (Nitpicks) and one Like Dislikes Spoiler This one is pretty minor, but I didn't care for Godzilla'a eyes glowing when he breathed his fire in this. It gave him a less real more cartoony look in my opinion. Mecha Godzilla's design... I woukd have like something less clunky, a little more sleek and cooler looking. American filmmakers STILL can't design cool looking mechs and robots for shit Like Spoiler The speed and staging of the fightscenes. These are the best big monster fight scenes to date. I really liked Godzilla's speed boost. He's is FEROCIOUS in this. I really hope they keep this series going... maybe a crossover with Pacific Rim?

Mercury33
I loved it. Like Skillz said these are hands down the dumbest most nonsensical humans to date. They sucked in the previous two Godzilla movies(I actually really enjoy them in Skull Island) but at least there was that sort of dark sense of mystery. This is just straight silly the whole time. The monster battles are incredible. The best on film to date. I just want to watch a 2 hour battle good lord. The score is brilliant. It reminded me of the scores from old 80’s fantasy movies and really added a sense of wonder to the scenes. Absolutely loved the music. All in all Skull Island is still my favorite. And I missed the dark brooding look from the previous two Godzilla movies. But the fighting, dear god the fighting is so fantastic. I hope they keep this universe going but if this was the finale then what a great send off.
5timechamp
As a Godzilla fan it was “odd” to see Godzilla mostly as a background character.. yet at the same time he features.. I love how Kong was portrayed, he was the legit star and I worried the film would do something awful to him.. lethal weapon 2 nod was nice, film is even listed in credits they played up Godzillas tank nature as well as Kongs smarts.. I honestly dont know how to rank these

I honestly dont know how to rank these Godzilla as a Tank... that''s the best way to describe him in this movie. He's literally a force of nature. Spoiler Kong just didn't stand a chance... but i did like how he was portrayed too. And yes the humans are dumb as fuck in this but in an entertaining and endearing way... not in an annoying, I want to turn off the movie way. The director definitely got what's important about a Godzilla movie.
