Then the collabs with Madlib and Danger Mouse that got heavier and more experimental...Incredible.

Ricofoley
Dangerdoom - The Mouse and the Mask is like 80 times better than a hip-hop album interspersed with Aqua Teen Hunger Force dialogue has any right to be.

Ghost_MH
It's wild that he died back in October. I guess COVID and no touring makes these things easier to keep private.

MF DOOM was close to completing 'Madvillainy' sequel before his death WWW.NME.COM MF DOOM was reportedly "85% done" with the sequel to collaborative album 'Madvillainy' at the time of his death. Looks like they's some music out there to be released. I really hope it sees the light of day.

He's so good and @Ricofoley is right. Danger Doom's The Mouse and the Mask is so much better than any all based on Adult Swim cartoons from the early 2000s has any right to be. It's legitimately great, even.

I think it's fine, not really great. I think your enjoyment of it really hinges on all those adult swim shows. I wasn't into most of the shows so this album is not one of my favorites, at the time it was among my disappointments.
Bloodporne
So what is a classic track to check out to narrow it down? Not based on Adult Swim cartoons preferably...

The second song Doom's not even on it Still a good song though)
Keyser_Soze
Also don't sleep on the Nastradoomus stuff. Though you probably should like Nas more than MF Doom if you listen to it

That's true for a chunk of the album, but songs like... Or... Are actually great songs, in spite of the Adult Swim link. Either way, I also just love the pairing of him and Ghostface... Bloodporne
His voice kind of reminds me of Cappadonna on old Wu Tang songs. Not that I'm a connoisseur but that's what came to mind. I like a few of these, will dig deeper, thanks!

Like his special herbs albums are just instrumentals, and like that Nastradoomus track, he just mixed the beats and put Nas over it.

Keyser_Soze
I'll let him off the hook since it's a pandemic and he's probably doing the photoshop himself, pretty good if that's the case.
