Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

You think Bernie would be able to do that? I've never seen him play that game. Biden can... if he can remember his name that night.

I don't know if Sanders could counter-punch in a similar manner - I think  he'd actually just essentially ignore the Imbecile's antics and doggedly stick to his message rather than engage the Imbecile directly.

Thank you, old black folks, from saving us from a Sanders candidacy and maybe a second Trump term :dancing:

Old black folks didn't give Biden Minnesota or Oklahoma. They're not making him competitive in Main or Mass.

That's EXACTLY how I would see it playing out. Bernie ain't got time for childish games...

For example, the first time the Imbecile calls him "Crazy Bernie", I'm fairly certain that Sanders's reaction will be to shrug his shoulder and say "Yeah. OK. Whatever.  Now, back to corporate welfare for billionaires..."

I simply can't see Warren being able to shrug off being called "Pocahontas" (which is unquestionably FAR more offensive terminology) in a similar manner.

Welp, congrats on a second term Trump.

Fuck everything.

No reason to think Biden is less likely to beat Trump than Sanders would have.

Yeah but that was a given. I'm STILL not sure why that came as such a shock to people.

She couldn't resist trying to respond in kind and it would probably backfire. Alas we'll never know... I suspect she drops out tomorrow.

I don’t like Biden but I wanna know why people are so convinced Sanders can win in the general.

Every single Democrat is up on Trump in virtually every single state, with Bernie and Biden with the largest margins.

But Bernie's brain isn't oozing out of his ears.

Eagerly awaiting more mental gymnastics to explain how the guy who couldn’t beat HRC or Biden could have beaten Trump... somehow...

It's a good point, though he has not lost yet.

If true, a massive win for Bernie

Nah, Biden and Warren both being viable is a disaster for Sanders.
