Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

Remember when I said the most likely outcome is nobody getting the nomination on the first ballot?

:dancing:

The explicit goal of one candidate is to be the nominee out of a contested convention, not by earning enough delegates to win in the first round.

This would be a disaster for the party.

They should just run Generic Democrat. That one does best in the polls. Hire some guy to wear a mask of a 48-year old man with greying temples and then create a chatbot fed with all of the tweets of the current batch of candidates.

Tim Kaine?

Drop out, Liz, and endorse Bernie. Do you want a Biden nomination, or a progressive one? Same for Tulsi for what that's worth lol

Liz seems to have jumped on the "stop Bernie at all costs" train. :/

I think the vote outcomes for ST won’t be changed a terribly large amount, but I still expect  Joe to pick a few percentage points here and there because of issues like this. But the real win continues to be the solidification of 15% viability amongst non-Sanders candidates which will indeed blunt his ability to run up the score tomorrow.
