Commissar SFLUFAN
Warren last polled at 2% with African-American primary voters in South Carolina. Just for comparison, Sanders polled at 15% with them.
stepee
Right, Warren has plans. We went over that.

The voters who think that way would not be voting for a ticket with Warren at the top anyway so why bother squandering the potential energy of Latin or African-American voters with Tim Kaine Part Deux? b_m_b_m_b_m
If it's Warren look for a moderate male POC (I'd eat my hat for Warren/gillum) If it's Bernie look for a Harris type (liberal enough, but a female POC, not Harris though imo) not a moderate cause I don't see him doing that. If Biden it'll be some moderate white dude because his brain is mush so Beto or something like it. (Trump wins in this scenario for sure) If it's anyone else we'll see. The democratic party will mostly demand diversity at the top of the ticket.

Also as skillz said, name recognition is the name of the game right now. As more African-Americans hear of her, she will improve there. Also, we should be way more worried about Hispanic voters. They are a way less reliable voter base.

SaysWho?
I do agree there need to be more people out there that are "far-left" in America in the media (aka actually center-left). The fact that some/many MAGA folk think Cuomo and Tapper are media heads of the Democrats is cute. But I see the line, "There are not many/no moderate Republicans/Never Trumpers," so often that I really wonder what the hell your social circle is and how small it is. Many of those people are older, and while my friends circle ranges from 20s to near-death, I don't feel many people here actually have many cross-generational friendships. If your circle is mostly 20-something socialists and Twitter world, then yes, the world looks a lot different to you.
