Whatever, she never even apologized for the views (because she still holds them). I'm sure GeneticBlueprint is remorseful for what he did and I know Robert Byrd apologized profusely as well. She does not give a shit because she is the same person.

Again, the video by itself isn't noteworthy, yet that's all outsida posted. If he'd posted it with "and she still holds these views" then I don't think there would have been any pushback to his having posted it.

I don’t know what you’re talking about? What other instances have I attacked someone for something said in the ignorance of youth? Also, I called Tulsi a political chameleon because she hasn’t shown any contrition or growth just political expediency.

Posting the video highlights that this is the real her and she hasn’t changed.

When you post an old video without further comment then what are we supposed to conclude other than "hey look at this shitty position she used to have"?

She represents one of the bluest districts in America. I hope someone primaries her.

She's been primaried in both 2016 and 2018. 2014 was the only year she didn't have to face a primary opponent (she was first elected in 2012). But she apparently refused to debate her primary opponents the last two cycles. I imagine that she's going to wind up shining a spotlight on that fact with all the attention she's drawing to herself right now.

The vitriol she had is just shocking. She never even apologized for these views, which would at least be something. Just the "my views evolved" bs

Damn she never apologized and she's about to run for President? Kevin Hart apologized three times for JOKES he made about gay people and people want his career to end

:hmm:

Tulsi Gabbard isn't running for president. She's running to get a show on Fox News where she can talk about how "the Democrat party left me behind."

I feel like that's really difficult with her economic views.

I know there will be a lot of weirdness, plenty of narratives and drama, but honestly, I'm looking forward to a more robust line-up of people running. 2016 had almost nobody ready to run, and two of the candidates dropped out after the first debate. It was indicative of how many Dems were wiped out in 2010 and 2014 that there were five people running, three of whom nobody still knows about.

Let's see there was grenade guy, was-a-republican, and Irish McFly. I started listing them and had to think hard to remember the 3rd one. Completely forgettable. All of them.

.and here is where I part ways with most of you. I’ve been following Gabbard for about 2 years now. And while I don’t agree with everything she’s done or has said, she’s getting my vote. Here is why:

1.) you’ll never find a perfect candidate that fits 100% with your ideals, esp not in our 2-party system.

2.) this country isn’t ready for a full-blown progressive democratic socialist. There are  just too many baby boomers left. Any candidate that leans too far left will lose to trump. I already know several conservative and libertarians who have stated that if she runs, they’d vote for her over trump...add to it she’s a veteran and it really helps win the military vote.  Good!

3.) She’s moderate and appeals to both sides. This is what this country needs right now to try and fix this polarizing divide.

4.) she may not agree with gay-marriage or abortion, but she supports the right to do so. This is SO important to me. Much more than someone who completely flip flops (looking at you HRC). It’s fine is she doesn’t believe in it so long as she agrees her believes shouldn’t be imposed on others. I actually prefer it!  It’s the proper way to govern. It shows acceptance without coming off phony or compromising your own beliefs to win votes. He statement on why she changed her mind was admirable and fair.

5.)Radical Islam is a problem in the world right now! You can bury your head in the sand and call that racist, but it’s a fact. So is right-wing extremism. Call it ALL out for what it is!!! And she does that. Good for her!

6.) I just don’t buy into calling her an Assad apologist. Her story differs from the media and somewhere in the middle is the truth. She’s against regime change and asserts that being a huge cause for the continuous conflicts in the Middle East. I agree. Should she have met with Assad? I dunno. She should’ve been more up front about it, absolutely. She’s also not the first politician to meet with him. The whole thing just comes off to me as the dem establishment discrediting her. I’m sure more of this will come out during the primaries and she will be held feet-to-the-Fire on it, as she should.

6.) she’s for just about the everything else I feel strongly about. Universal healthcare, taking on the military industrial complex, environmentally conscious, moderate gun control. Campaign finance reform, pro-marijuana legalization, pro glass-steagall..just to name a few

EDIT - I have no idea why my formatting is like this? I’m on mobile - safari. Any ideas? Looks like I copied/pasted.

I fixed it for you. There's a "paste as plain text" black box that pops up at the bottom of the editor right after pasting anything, FYI.

Thanks. Weird. Never had that happen before.

I just added the "remove formatting" button to the mobile WYSIWYG editor, do a select-all and then hit this button and you can remove any formatting:

Warren needs to grow a set and start firing back. Its so simple to counter that stupid tweet about her husband being there.

"Hey Trump... where is Milania these days? Im assuming anywhere youre not"

Or just post one of the countless clips of her pulling her hand away from him, etc...

While true, I wouldn't classify [checks notes] - comparing homosexuality to bestiality - as a minor imperfection. That's a pretty big one!

I mean she was like 19-21 when she said that. I’m sure her father and religion both played a heavy influence on her ideals back then. I certainly said some shit in my early 20s that I absolutely do not agree with now.

She said this is 2011:

“The contrast between our society and those in the Middle East made me realize that the difference — the reason those societies are so oppressive — is that they are essentially theocracies where the government and government leaders wield the power to both define and then enforce ‘morality,’” she wrote in a December 2011 post. “I began to realize that the positions I had held previously regarding the issues of choice and gay marriage were rooted in the same premise held by those in power in the oppressive Middle East regimes I saw.”

and she said this recently:

"First, let me say I regret the positions I took in the past, and the things I said. I'm grateful for those in the LGBTQ+ community who have shared their aloha with me throughout my personal journey."

She continued, "Over the past six years in Congress, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to help work toward passing legislation that ensures equal rights and protections on LGBTQ+ issues, such as the Equality Act, the repeal of DOMA, Restore Honor to Service members Act, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, the Safe Schools Improvement Act and the Equality for All Resolution. Much work remains to ensure equality and civil rights protections for LGBTQ+ Americans and if elected President, I will continue to fight for equal rights for all."

She gets a high five from me. People make mistakes and people change. If the Democratic Party is really the party of acceptance, then we should be praising her  instead of calling her out.
