Guest
I did tell you guys that concerns about Covid in polls is really about economics, not people dying/getting sick. Trump has still polled strong on the economy compared to most other issues.

CitizenVectron
I'm feeling a bit better now that we know what the margin is in PA, and how many votes in Philly are outstanding. Even so, we likely won't know the results of the election officially until Friday. What is more disappointing is that the GOP may hold their majority in the Senate. Trump being up at the end of tonight also tees up the doomsday scenarios about lawsuits to stop the vote counting getting decided by SCOTUS. Ricofoley
Pot ballot measures winning everywhere. Decriminalizing psychedelics won in DC. People more often then not vote for good policies. They don't vote for good candidates as much. Longstanding problem with the Democratic party for sure, and the media too.

CitizenVectron
If Biden wins but the GOP holds 51-49 in the Senate, do we think we are realistically looking at 4 years without a SCOTUS appointment, regardless of any deaths or resignations? People are voting for progressive policies, but not the politicians that are more likely to support them. It's baffling, until you realize that the face of the Democratic Party is Pelosi, Biden, etc. The Democrats need a "real talker" like AOC at their helm, except, unfortunately, white and probably male.
