Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

It likely doesn’t matter at this point. The media narrative has already been set and they aren’t going to walk it back, they aren’t properly going to call out the IDP for the manner in which they released the results, and they may even just run with the “the irregularities in the data are some numerous we just can’t be sure who won” and call it a day.

Honestly, I think had the results come out that night the narrative would still have been the same. Buttigieg outperformed expectations and Bernie slightly underperformed. Either way, Bernard is in the driver's seat right now.

I'll agree to this, as the only reason Iowa is a 'thing' is the media value of winning

They would just impeach both.

Also, these stupid intermediary delegates don't matter. Both Bernie and Pete are walking away from Iowa with the same number of national delegates.

They matter in the sense of the media narrative. That's the only reason why Iowa matters in the first place.

Btw, are you guys aware that there is a debate tomorrow? I had no idea!

So just before the announcement that Bernie wins by all metrics, before 100% reporting, they're gonna recount.

They're doing everything in their power to make it look like a ratfuck from the party leaders.

The state party actually doesn't have to listen to Perez, as Perez holds no power over them. Sounds like he tried to get them to do this privately, and is now taking it public.

HOWEVER, a recount is good in this case, as there are hundreds of instances of irregularities and it would be nice to get that settled.

Just throw it out and rebrand Iowa under Slipknot, let them run the state from now on as an independent entity like DC.

Then why not wait until the last 3% reports?

I mean obviously Sanders isn't going to win all of the primaries.

He could, but with all being proportional, he still needs others to drop out to secure enough pledged delegates to win at the convention. With the DNC clearly still being opposed to a Sanders nomination, I can imagine the big time donors going into overdrive to bundle for Warren and Biden to stymie Sanders’ chance to get over the threshold.
