Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

If Warren performs below expectations in the early white heavy state elections I wonder if she will stick around for long or throw in with Bernie, the events of last week make it seem less likely but if Bernie picks up a decent chunk of her voters he has a good shot at winning it all.

The very unfortunate thing about that spat (which I don't think was as serious as it was played up to be) is that Sanders was already looking into making her his VP, as well as his Treasury Secretary. Would be the first combined VP+Secretary role, as far as I am aware, and shows how much he trusts her.

I know there was a lot of chatter about picking Warren but I would think he would go with someone that isn't elderly and less white even before the whole he said she said of last week.

As I mentioned earlier, Iowa is an absolute "must-win" for her.

Who cares about VP, unless you have a useful idiot situation like W./Cheney?

It’s only important in terms of optics to appease to a broader set of voters.

I think a good combo in Bernie’s case would be something like a Sanders/Klobuchar ticket.  A centrist female VP makes him look less scary to the voters who find the idea of a ‘socialist’ president a bit radical.

Obama understood this, Hillary did not

This is a bad idea. Bernie is no spring chicken, he won’t have the reaction speed necessary to dodge Klobuchar’s thrown binders.

I know you're kidding (i.e. this isn't directed at you), but Ana has maintained he'd vote for Bernie if he's the nominee. Can't say the same for a few Berniebros on here.

I doubt that anyone on this forum, at this point (2020), who dislikes Trump wouldn’t vote for the Democratic nominee regardless of who they are.

2016 was different. Also, I wanted Bernie in 2016, never thought he would actually get the nomination and always planned (and did) vote for Hillary. I currently think Bernie is too old, as I’m thinking of 8-years not 4, and Presidents who actually care (not Trump) tend to age 2-3x a normal human rate during a served term :p

I think every single Bernie supporter on D1P and is still here now (so not rsf) voted for Hillary in 2016. If you can vote for goddamn Hillary but not Biden (the only candidate besides Bernie  who stands a chance to be the nominee tbh) you're fucking stupid.
