GeneticBlueprint
Harris out Quote In a note to supporters, Harris wrote that “my campaign for president simply doesn’t have the financial resources we need to continue.”“It is with deep regret — but also with deep gratitude— that I am suspending my campaign today,” she wrote. “But I want to be clear with you: I am still very much in this fight.” Harris, 55, entered the race a rising star. Her January announcement rally in Oakland drew more than 22,000 people. Trump, himself, praised Harris at the time for having the “best opening so far” and a “better crowd, better enthusiasm” than the other Democratic candidates. But Harris has struggled to recreate that level of enthusiasm. While she has consistently sought to be the candidate who could appeal to all parts of her party, she has veered from one message to another in an effort to kindle support. Harris was also hindered by the internal dynamics of her campaign, which is run by her sister, Maya, along with longtime advisers and their partners in a California-based consulting firm. Multiple people in and around the campaign described competing power centers and said it’s unclear who, exactly, is in charge.

Where did you get that 80+ number? The last few polls have been in the 66-73 range. Obviously there is a much greater chance of it being one of the top 4 this time around, but there is still a chance that it will be someone else and I think you are taking that for granted. MarSolo
Anyone not named Warren, Biden, Sanders, or Booty-egg should be dropping out. In fact, Biden should drop out for “No Malarky”.

Chris-
I know his campaign was a joke, but it's a bummer Sestak has been reduced to running for the sake of performance. Having followed his Senate runs, he's an incredible guy. It's a shame the party was too insular to support him.

Joe
Ridiculous. But are TV ads as useful as they used to be? Curious to see data on that, but too lazy to google atm.
TwinIon
I don't see a lot of TV ads, but I'm pretty sure Bloomberg's are the first campaign ads I've seen on TV this year. I think it's a shame that Harris dropped out, even if she's not my first choice. Sure does seem like having Iowa and New Hampshire going first isn't the best idea if there's any desire for diversity in the candidates. Joe
We need to swap out South Carolina with New Hampshire for 2024.
SaysWho?
Bernie Sanders becomes top candidate for college students Warren's decline matches her recent decline in the polls (not necessarily permanent). I did the math, and the Democrats combined get 77.3% of the college vote to Trump's 17.3%.

TwinIon
Biden calls an Iowa voter a "damn liar" when the man says Joe set his son up to work for a Ukraine energy company.
