In a society with a higher quality of life and less prejudice this much less likely to be the case. Anyone who's unjustly marginalized seems to have a healthy dislike of it. For whatever reason, magas and similar ilk seem to think otherwise. Why would you say this is?

I'm pretty sure we're demonizing the right subset of Trump supporters, not all of them. I assumed that was presumed going into this thread. Also: 70 million people can be justifiably demonized, in theory. And those POC votes are sexist, racist minority men and culturally brainwashed minority women. I know many. Sadly most of the ones I know, in the Midwest, are victims of Fox news propaganda, and Christianity. They lack self reflection in that they would never admit to themselves to being racist despite believing idealogies that demonstrate such--for example BLM vs. ALM. These people are operating under different definition of racism, strongly influenced by biases and tribalism. I think we should be able to flip these people to our side or more moderate. But then there are the huge subset of white supremacists. Fuck them.

I mean, 70 million people are cool re-voting for a president who got 230,000+ Americans killed on his watch. The verdict is in on them my friend. Whatever their reasons for voting his ticket are, Trump supporters of all walks of life showed the non grayscale world that they suck at middleschool history class knowledge. They're either ruled by self-interest, or have terribly unevolved critical thinking skills. There might've been hope for one time Trump supporters, but it's extremely difficult to give any benefit of the doubt to anyone who remained on board, and there will be long term effects of this for some time. Your second point...do you think Biden is a radical democrat? The base you're hinting sounds like republicans at best which is kinda the opposite of what democrats are about. Are you saying anyone who voted for Trump twice would be in favor of social democratic policies?

I really just have no personal experience of it. I have friends who've told stories, but I've never witnessed anything for myself because I'm white. But yeah this is right and I was trying to say it from a different angle. These people have a different definition of racism because we don't acknowledge it properly. That is a huge problem and the place we need to start course correcting.
