  1. I like how all the news outlets get a story and report on the story, but Fox News always reports on the reporting of the story rather than the story itself.
  2. Lawrence O'Donnell made a pretty good case for it being Dan Coates. His theory makes sense to me. My guess is that it's someone further down the chain of command and they are playing fast and loose with the term "senior".
  3. Does the word "Senior" carry a tangible meaning here? Can they just call anyone they feel is important enough "Senior" or are we looking at a list of like 20 people here? At the very least, we should be able to show the NYT a list of 20-30 names and get them to confirm whether or not the author is one of the people on the list? What does "Senior" mean?
  4. Shouldn't all of his special powders and manly tinctures offset all of that? I don't pay a lot of attention to Alex Jones, but any time he creeps into my sphere of attention for some reason, I'm always stunned by just how awful he is at literally everything. What a fucking clown. Anyone who takes him seriously AT ALL, is a complete fucking nitwit and can just go fuck off forever and ever. And hey, Donald Trump likes the guy and has appeared on his show. Why isn't this brought up more? If Megan Kelly can get ostracized just for interviewing him, why does no one seem to care that Trump has called into his show to shower him with accolades? Fuck all of these people.
  5. I was flipping back and forth between the big three news networks yesterday and I came to the conclusion that they looked like news channels covering the news in completely different realities. If your average Trump voter is getting their news from Fox News, they probably don't care about any of this, because they exist in a completely different world with different news and different scandals. This isn't spin, it's two versions of reality and it's truly terrifying what out media landscape has evolved into.
  6. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2018/08/27/seth-rogens-amc-series-preacher-features-nazi-wearing-maga-hat-in-season-finale.html I bet they were wanting this to become a "thing". Well, it made it to the front page of Fox News... Albeit, as a tiny byline on another story, but whatever. I wonder what would happen if the religious right noticed this show. I mean, just guessing here... but I bet that exploding multiple inbred mentally handicapped Jesus clones isn't something they would approve of.
  7. I never read the comics and I loved the finale and the entire season.
  8. Trump’s lucky everyone is too distracted by all of the other fucked up shit going on with Trump to pay attention to this story and mock him endlessly for it.
  9. Now the top stories on fox news are... 1. How a 2 month old supreme court decision might change the type of speakers at colleges (BIG LEAD STORY!!!) 2. The expected results are now final in the Ohio special election from 3 weeks ago 3. An Instagram model got into an accident 4. Chic-fil-a is banning campers from getting deals 5. A farm is using gofundme to stay afloat 6. John McCain is stopping treatment 7. Trump wants Pompeo not to go to North Korea 8. A woman lied about rape 9. A sex offended peed on a kid 10. A small-town Mayor and girlfriend charged with misdemeanor assault 11. Jennifer Garner is staying with Ben Afflack 12. NASA intern let go over tweet 13. A Fox news employee says sessions should be fired 14. A story about California school dress codes (featuring scantily clad female butts) 15. A Steve Jobs story (from daughters book) 16. Florida judge killed after police standoff
  10. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/08/24/ocasio-cortez-claims-solidarity-with-cab-drivers-while-campaign-buys-rides-from-uber-other-alternatives-fec-data-show.html Lead story on foxnews.com is about how Ocasio-Cortez's campaign spent $4,000 on Uber rides, even though she is publicly critical of Uber. Lead. Story.
  11. American citizens murder a lot of people too. Let's just kick everyone out.
  12. When was the last time Trump did a press conference? It's been like a year or something right? That's not normal... EDIT: 552 days.... https://www.washingtonpost.com/apps/g/page/politics/trumps-last-press-conference/2140/ God, I would love to see him try and directly answer some of these questions and not in a friendly state media setting.
  13. Season 1 was amazing. If you haven't watched it, I highly recommend it. Looking forward to season 2...
  14. It seems to me that the rate of people staying is around 50-60%. A lot of people do leave. The opening night crowds probably behave differently though. I usually see Marvel flicks on the opening Sunday at like 10am. I bet the further out from opening night you get, the more casual the audience and the more likely they are to not stay.
  15. I think that has actually been mostly debunked, but persists because it's funny.
