Yeah, it's not as good as it used to be and is wildly inconsistent, but it's still worth watching. When it's good, it's REALLY good.

I've had my phone for a year now and the lack of a headphone jack has been mildly inconvenient exactly once.

Yeah, I have an 8+ that I bought with the intention of keeping for 3 years... and nothing I saw today was compelling enough to make me change my mind.

A slightly better camera? Meh... Slightly better screen? Meh... A little more waterproof? Meh... Anything else that will matter one lick to 99.9% of the population? I'm drawing a blank...

Unless they have some sort of surprise coming, this surely is the least exciting year-over-year iPhone upgrade yet. Has there been a peep about 3D Touch yet? I'm only half paying attention while I'm at work. It wasn't mentioned on the graphic with all of the features spelled out.

zzzzzz... these demos always suck. No one cares about this crap. They really need to just get to the point. I wish they would drop these stage shows and just produce a fast moving 30 minute video to announce everything. Invite the press out to watch it live and get product demos and just get to the flipping' point.

Yes, they raised the price. They didn't actually announce the price for the big one or all the models. $399 is surely for the small one. The bigger one is probably $459? Who knows for steel. Ugh. I was hoping for a price drop, but Apple doesn't really do price drops anymore. Can't remember the last time they dropped the price on anything.

Yeah, I was at a large youth hockey party and they had raffles and fundraisers. They had one raffle where the prize was literally 3 wheelbarrows overflowing with bottles of hard liquor. Like, enough booze to kill like 10 people. Half of the raffle prizes were alcohol related. It's just weird how socially acceptable alcohol is as a drug. I was trying to imagine 3 wheelbarrows filled with weed and bongs and just how weird that would look... but it's the same damned thing. 3 wheelbarrows of weed would actually be way way less dangerous.

Tucker Carlson has one of the most punchable faces on TV. He always has this angry confused look on his face. I don't understand how anyone can watch that show or take him seriously at all. He's such fucking clown shoes. I mean, I like top hate watch it for 15-20 minutes here and there, but seriously, there are people out there who take this man seriously. That truly frightens me.
