  1. 4th episode was really solid. Next week should be crushing. I loved all the little jokes they included from the game.
  2. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - 8/10 I put off watching this for a while due to my Marvel burnout, but I have to say it’s a great movie overall and a fitting tribute to Chadwick Boseman.
  3. Started The Last Green Valley by Mark Sullivan on my Kindle and The Passage by Justin Cronin in paperback.
  4. I really only care about The Batman sequels. Just make them good and I'll be happy. I pretty much don't care about the rest. Seems dumb to let Henry Cavill go as Superman and keep Ezra Miller on, though.
  5. I finished it this morning before going to sleep. It was pretty good. Ending wrapped up neatly, but sometimes I want a nice ending. Nothing amazing, but a decent read. Now onto The Guise of Another by Allen Eskens. It’s the sequel to The Life We Bury. Was kinda eager to connect with some of the characters again. I think for my next nonfiction, I’m gonna start Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe.
  6. I saw that the other day on FB. Sent it to my husband and he’d forgotten Pedro Pascal played Oberon. 🤦🏻‍♀️
  7. He was sick. Probably with cancer. He was dying anyway and wanted to end things on his terms. That’s what I took from it.
  8. That was really great. Broke my heart at the end. I liked expanding on Bill’s backstory. The change suited it well, too. Didn’t really change Joel and Ellie’s journey.
  9. I'm a third of the way through and don't really know what's going on so far. I do like the setting, though.
  10. The Girls in the Stilt House by Kelly Mustian. Just finished Me and Robert E Lee and I’m not sure what I want my next nonfiction to me.
  11. The Life We Bury was really great. And it's the first of a series, so I'm excited I get to continue with these characters. Current fiction is Independence by Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.
  12. Reading the IGN comments on this story is gross. Actually reading the IGN comments on almost any story that has a whiff of controversy is gross. The gamer community as a whole seems kinda gross.
  13. I got Detective Pikachu last night. Went to a local game store to dump off most of my remaining blu ray collection and got some credit and that was sitting there. It was one of the last 3DS games I wanted. Puts us at 75 physical 3DS games.
  14. I saw something about him sending inappropriate texts to 16 year olds. Never watched his show, but this guy can fuck right off.
  15. Though chapter 4 last night. I think I'll be sticking with this one. Feels good to be enjoying a FE game after so long.
  16. Yep, the clickers were just as terrifying as in the game. Wasn’t there a shootout that led to Tess’s death in the game? I remember she got infected and sacrificed herself, but not all the circumstances around it.
  17. I was big into Power Rangers in elementary school. This was mid-90s. Watched the show, had the toys, traded cards with my school friend. I have no nostalgia for it today, though. It's pretty painful to watch. I don't understand my fellow millennials who still love this. Guy who was a couple years ahead of me in school got a massive tattoo covering his whole forearm with them back when I worked with him in college. Some things from my childhood I have nostalgia for. Disney movies, Ninja Turtles(to a point, but I don't sit around watching the cartoons). Power Rangers? Cringe.
