Yes, I make it a topic of conversation on the regular. Let me break it down for you. My aunt is a loud and proud fundamentalist. She really really doesn't like LGBTQ people. She buys into the notion that they're abominations and predators. She doesn't like it when you point out that the youth pastor at her church is now serving life without parole for child rape when she's talking about the evils of the gays.

He talks about it a lot, usually in posts where he's advocating for trans rights and such. It's been a good therapy for him to throw himself into activism. He even acknowledges that years before, though he backed gay rights, he thought the concept of transgender was bullshit. It changed before his son came out and he was a super supportive dad from that point forward. His ex-wife...not so much. It'll be a lifelong pain for him, but I'm glad he's become so involved with the community.

I'm talking about my aunt, you dingus. JFC.

The church my super fundamentalist aunt attends had their youth pastor raping a couple young girls about a decade ago. I think they were 10 and 12 at the time. He even did it in the church if I recall. His wife turned him in when she found a bunch of child porn on his computer. She doesn't like for me to bring up that "incident." I buy most of my Switch games physical, with a few exceptions. I think we have around 70 physical Switch games. Also the fact my husband and I both own Switches and it generally doesn’t make sense to buy multiple copies of the same single player game.

I completely misread my Amazon preorder. It’s fucking March 27. I ordered this thing the day it went up. What in the actual fuck is going on?

Given that we’ve been together for 18 years and have had very few real problems, I think it’ll work out okay. Like sbl said above, sometimes we say shit to our partner we later regret. It wasn’t right, but we did have a good discussion about it last night.

Actually, I thought the discussion was really helpful and I’m grateful to those here who responded to me. It’s nice to have a a safe place to talk about issues. The people here can be awesome.

That's cool, because I've kinda stopped caring about her. It's still kind of amazing when I think about how my obsession for that series just fell off a cliff. It defined so much of me for so long.
