That’s what I’m doing now. Just driving around a bit, giving a bit of charge. But it’s slow.

Yeah, that’s the one that did the damage by me. We were able to watch the news for a bit with the UPS powering our modem after the outage. Not sure I’ll be able to charge my phone. Everywhere is packed and places aren’t open to go into, even in the unaffected area. We’re debating on going 2 hours south to my in-laws to pick up a generator, as the power restoration doesn’t look hopeful.

Heading to the other side of town now to eat and charge our phones. This is devastating, y’all.

Bad storms through my city today. My house specifically is okay, but a tornado ripped through the are about a mile through my house. Catastrophic damage and injuries being reported. Hospitals on Level 3 mass casualty alert. We currently have no power and who knows when it’ll be restored with all the damage. This sucks. Closest I’ve ever been to a tornado.

Your photos have me even more hyped for October. -
I have no faith in my team. I'm guessing just under .500 and last place finish. I'm excited to watch certain players, like Yoshida, though. And of course, I can't help but wonder how Sale will fare with injuries.

Resident Evil 4 Remake - PC - 10/10 They took one of the best games ever and made it even better. I really couldn't have asked for more. 2023 games: Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster - PC Fire Emblem Engage - Switch Resident Evil 4 Remake - PC -
Beat it. 21 hours on my save file. B rank. Honestly, I have no complaints. I loved the original and this just gave it a near perfect update for modern times. 10/10 In the last boss, though, it fucked up and did that endless falling through a blank screen, though. That was weird. Only real screw up I had, though. Played the last two chapters tonight on the 65” OLED with the new 7900XTX. Completely maxed out, including RT and I was typically getting well over 100FPS. That’s also on a Ryzen 5 CPU(upgrading the rest soon).

Books What Are You Reading or Listening To?
CastlevaniaNut18 replied to rc0101's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
Stupid me, I've started a fourth book. The Once and Future Sex: Going Medieval on Women's Roles in Society by Dr Eleanor Janega. I recently discovered the delights of Dr Janega on Youtube, watching these history videos. She's very down the earth and I love her commentary. So when I found out she just released this book, I ordered it immediately. So far, it's very good. I feel like I'm reading it in her voice. Yep, I know. I have the other sitting on my shelf. I doubt I read them back to back, but I do look forward to reading the mirror of Desperation at some point. -
I think the public does need to see the photos of actual victims to hammer home what these weapons do to a body. Our coverage is far too sanitized. But I don’t think it’s fair to ask these families to all be Mamie Till. I can’t imagine going through that.

The Blast Effect: How bullets from an AR-15 blow the body apart WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM The Washington Post examined autopsy and postmortem reports from nearly a hundred victims of past mass shootings that involved an AR-15 style rifle. This is a really good article showing the devastation these AR style rifles cause to the human body. It’s brutal to read, but they spoke with the victims families and obtained consent prior to publishing this. People need to know the extent to the gruesome injuries these guns cause. We’re so distanced from the actual brutality. This is the closest you can get without actually seeing the autopsy photos. Just fucking brutal. No one needs these kinds of weapons. My parents own a couple and I shot them with my dad the other day. Sure it’s fun shooting cans, but then I thought about those same kinds of bullets tearing through children and I felt sick. The difference between the AR and a handgun is astounding. Oh, and the end of that article? Chills.
