Yeah, I really like my keyboard and mouse being RBG. im looking at this Fractal Torrent for my new case. He bought the non-RGB model for the game room and I really like it.

I can’t wait! Gotta order the rest of the build. Probably just gonna order what he did for the game room PC. I want a new case, too. I know what model I want, but trying to decide on whether to go all RGB bling.

Yeah, I was planning on keeping the 3080 until at least the next line of GPUs drop. It's served me well with every other fucking game(great job, Sony). But this game, I was already planning on playing on the 65" OLED.

This is a full new build, minus the GPU(I have a 3080). Also got the same CPU for the game room PC to pair with the 7900XTX. Stupid Best Buy says they won't be available fore pickup until next Saturday. But given how quick these things sold out this morning, it was the only option.

Got my new CPU ordered, looking forward to actually being able to play this(I hope). I got the 7800X3D. @stepee

Between no electricity and work, I'm just now watching my first game of the season. Regardless of my feelings about my team going in, I'm glad baseball is back. It's a good feeling.

Nope, husband tried it tonight and it was poop. Said it was like a streaming video trying to load way too frequently and too much stuttering. Said he got about the same performance at 1080p as he did at 4k. Same for going ultra to low settings. He said it’s really pretty at ultra and 4k but wildly inconsistent. Maybe a new CPU will help, but I dunno. Either way we’re upgrading when the new AMD drops, but I’m gonna wait on playing this until it can run effectively.

Well, the offense is off to a hot start. Be nice if the pitching were on the same level.

I might try this tomorrow on the game room PC to see how it runs. Might need to wait for the CPU upgrade. I’m just curious right now.

I dunno what that email was about, but I’m glad it was wrong. We have power again. Phew.

I was just watching a FB video one of our local meteorologists posted where he was surveying the worst of the damage today and this woman recognized him and came up and she was thanking him and crying and man, it just got me all in the feels. He was the one I was watching yesterday. I just wanna say thanks to these professionals like @SaysWho?. Y’all are so freaking important in some of the worst of times. You save lives.

Just got an email update from our power company and it says now no restoration until the 7th. Fucking hell.

Didn’t get to watch, but Sale was a bust and Duvall had himself a day.

I was absolutely gonna get back to this while I was off this weekend, but nature determined otherwise. I don’t really like playing this in handheld mode.

We went and bought a generator because there’s no good estimate of when power will be restored and I really don’t want to lose all the meat I have in my deep freezer. At least our hot water is on gas, so we can shower. Our stove is gas, too.

Still no power, eta is 10pm. Stuff in the freezers seem to be holding up. And it’s in the 60s and windy today, so it’s not miserable in here. Still consider myself lucky.

A friend of mine from work lives a couple minutes from me and she’s lost everything, including her car. She’s physically safe, at least.
