It’s so good, but so bleak. Story is great and I absolutely love Ellie and Dina, but parts of it are just gut wrenching. -

Fuck it, I know Zelda is just a few days away, but I decided to do a NG+ for The Last of Us Part II. Been itching to play it since I finished the remake of Part I. I was just waiting til I finished Metroid Prime. -

Got the game preloading on my Switch. I just decided to do the $100 voucher. Gotta decide what my other game will be. Husband doesn’t know I did this, so I’m gonna rush downstairs and start it up when I get off work Friday morning. He’ll have to wait for some work downtime and Best Buy to open to go pick up his copy. 🤣

Metroid Prime Remastered - Switch - 9/10 My first time with this game. It was great. Now I’m just sad there’s no updated versions of 2 and 3 because it’ll be hard for me to go back and play them without the better controls. 2023 games: Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster - PC Fire Emblem Engage - Switch Resident Evil 4 Remake - PC Resident Evil VIIlage: Shadows of Rose - PC Pentiment - PC The Last of Us Part I + Left Behind - PC Metroid Prime Remastered - Switch -

Finished Don't Know Tough. Now onto The Last Word by Taylor Adams. Just got it in from BOTM and a quick thriller sounds appealing right now. -

Gonna try to beat Metroid Prime today. I’ve gotten everything, save for 4 missile expansions. Here’s hoping I don’t rage too much at the final boss. -
I didn't think it was. Being bipolar is a bitch. Starting to get used to that since switching to psych nursing.

@Biggie mentioned it in the hockey thread, but I'll ask for baseball. What're your favorite unis? Of course, I'm a big fan of the Boston jerseys, all of them. They're just simple and clean and classic. I was also wearing my Mariners home white tonight and thinking how crisp it looks. Atlanta has some good looking jerseys, too. Particularly their home red and whites. And green is my favorite color, so I’m fond of the As. I don’t follow the team, but I’ve been tempted to buy a hat just because I love the green so much.

I'm also about halfway through Don't Know Tough by Eli Cranor. He's an Arkansas writer and he's written two crime novels so far. This is the first and it's pretty good. -

Approaching the end of Metroid Prime, but I realized I'm missing a bunch of artifacts. So I'll be playing that tonight. -

I finished The Moon is Down, @Nokra. 8/10. It’s a quick read, but I see why it was so powerful for the time it was written. It’s a fable, but it’s clear it’s about the invasion of Norway by the nazis. -

I’ll post my thoughts. I read 20 pages last night and it’s only 112 pages. I love Steinbeck. I’ve read the three you mentioned, and they were excellent. EoE is one of my all time favorite books. Only other one I’ve read so far is The Pearl. It was a short read, but I don’t recall it doing much for me.
