  1. I was 10 when the movie released and already knew a plethora of facts. I remember begging my parents to take me to see it and being in awe of how much Cameron got right. And my dad tossing my jacket over my head when the boobies came on screen, lol.
  2. It’s really something. Definitely not something I would ever want to do. Kinda like extreme mountain climbing. Love to read about it and watch docs, but I’d never actually do it. This seemed especially dangerous, compared to all the research missions that have gone before it.
  3. I was basically obsessed with Titanic as a kid. I read everything I could get my hands on. I still retain most of that knowledge because I’m weird like that.
  4. Isidor and Ida Strauss, cofounder of Macy’s. They had a pretty honorable death, choosing to stay together and let younger people on the lifeboats, as they were elderly and had lived their lives.
  5. Yeah, I’d rather the instant implosion. The thought of sitting in complete darkness in that tiny space with little hope just waiting to die is the part that gets me.
  6. Not wanting to joke about a horrific way to die isn’t holier than thou. But whatever, you do you.
  7. I won’t mourn them, but I’m not gonna celebrate like some people. I just think it’s a terrible way to die.
  8. I mean, I don’t like the idea of billionaires and think they shouldn’t exist, but this is a horror I really wouldn’t wish on any human being. I don’t really feel a need to joke about it. It’s kinda cringe.
  9. It’s always been my secondary platform after PC, but I’ve been very satisfied with the library.
  10. Mario RPG is a day one. Wanna see more of the Peach game. I feel like I’ll end up getting the Luigi’s Mansion port because I love that series so much. I’ve still not played a Pikmin game, even though I own them all. I may get the first two on Switch now, so that’s really cool. I almost never skip a Dragon Quest game. AND A NEW 2D MARIO, OMFG, YESSSSSSSSSS
  11. I finished No Country for Old Men last night. It was good. Really bleak, though. But I guess that’s par for the course. I have it 4/5. I will say his writing style takes some getting used to. But I’ll be reading more of his books for sure. I’ve never seen the movie, so I’ll be watching that soon. Next up is The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware(fiction) and Mindhunter by John Douglas(nonfiction).
  12. Taking the 5/6 form the Yankees is always a good time.
  13. That’s really cool. I’ve seen similar maps. I’ve been to the old Busch Stadium(STL) x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley, Nationals Park, Guaranteed Rate(CWS), and T-Mobile(SEA). Kinda bummed I won’t add any this year, but Japan more than makes up for it.
  14. Yeah, I love my neighborhood. Woods all around, so I get tons of wildlife, great hiking trails in 20 minutes, rivers, and close to all the good stores. It’s pretty ideal. Neighborhood is majority white, but there’s a decent bit of color, too.
  15. I can't help but cringe when he talks like this. Not because his fantasy world sounds terrible, but because it's such a fantasy.
  16. All the Sinners Bleed gets 5 stars from me. Favorite book this year. It's a good bit more gruesome than his prior books, but I love a good procedural thriller. MC was compelling and I didn't really see that ending coming. SA Cosby is definitely an auto-buy author for me. Next up, I'm gonna try No Country for Old Men. I'm way over due on starting McCarthy.
