  1. ...almost every mass shooting in America is perpetrated by a white male. It doesn't have anything to do with needing to be a racial attack.
  2. Google is a really good resource. But if you're that lazy, then it's intersex and asexual
  3. They're both pretty blah. I'd say I liked HR better, but there's a completely retarded twist that just ruined it for me. Hard to remember much about Beyond.
  4. I still just say LGBT. The Q seems redundant, because isn't it just kind of a catch all term? The rest is just too much.
  5. Mostly took a break from games for a few days, but I'm back to playing Persona 5 and a little MArio Tennis on the side.
  6. I liked The Grapes of Wrath, but it was kind of a slog while they were on the road. I look forward to reading East of Eden at some point. Folio Society has a beautiful copy I'd love to get my hands on at some point. I finished Stalingrad last night. Still working on It Can't Happen here, but I also decided to read The Liberal Redneck Manifesto: Draggin' Dixie Outta the Dark, by Trae Crowder, Corey Ryan Forrester, and Drew Morgan. I like the guy's videos, so I'm interested in reading his book. I have a copy autographed by all of them.
  7. I have little faith that Manchin, Tester, McCaskill are going to buckle down and vote "no" when they're fighting for their lives to keep their seats in Nov.
  8. At least vote. We can say we did something. There will be plenty of sorrow at my house, though.
  9. I'm not being defeatist, I was legit asking a question. I know about all the protests and they're not going away soon, I just wasn't aware of what's been accomplished.
  10. And I never said Democrats should just sit back and wallow in sorrow, so I don't know why you're jumping on my case so hard. I'm doing my part by voting and donating to candidates. About the gun control issue, though, what have the protests really done? What major legislation has been enacted in regards to gun control?
  11. I mean, to go back on what Komusha was saying earlier, would it be okay for the baker to serve all black people but refuse to bake a cake for a mixed race wedding? I mean, I'll be honest here, I don't really care about wedding cakes. It's the bigger picture I'm concerned about.
  12. Look, I know you like to pat yourself on the back over the Alabama thing, but a fairly conservative Democrat just barely eeked out a victory over a credibly accused child molester there. And his term will end in 2020, when he'll likely face a much better Republican candidate. I vote. I call my senators. But I'm also well-aware of the fact that Tom Cotton isn't up for re-election anytime soon and his head is sitting comfortably up Trump's ass. The reality is, we're about to have a really, really conservative court for the next several decades and a lot of progress is going to get reversed. No Blue Wave in November is gonna change that right now.
  13. If you say so. I'm sure my far right senators will listen to me. So I really have no recourse. Face it, we're stuck with a shitty court for decades. Goodbye Roe v Wade and who knows what else.
  14. They were denied a routine service based on who they were. If the state commission hadn't been so outwardly hostile to the bigot's religious beliefs, the case would have gone in favor of the couple. So, no, I disagree with your stance.
  15. As I pointed out, though, that's all they can do. They have absolutely no leverage and Republicans don't give a flying shit about hypocrisy.
  16. Sure hope I don't need an abortion, especially now. My state will be one of the first to pass new laws totally banning it.
  17. The beginning was definitely slow. Probably why it took me so long to finish the game, because I couldn't force myself to play for extended periods at the beginning.
  18. Dems have zero leverage here. All they can do is call out Republican hypocrisy.
