  1. Yeah, I absolutely think libraries should always exist. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of the library. Personally, I just like owning my books. I love having a room in my house dedicated to my own personal library.
  2. I dunno, I had a NES and a Genesis as a kid and played them a little, but I wasn't very good at games. I got a PS1 and Crash Bandicoot and that's where I really got into gaming. Then I met my husband when I was 17 and he got me into new genres, like JRPGs and that's where I am now.
  3. I haven't been to a library in years. A few times in college, but I don't think I checked out any books.
  4. I remember being a kid at the city pool and a woman had a seizure there. And when I was in nursing school, working at Walmart, a teenager had a seizure in the store. I see them all the time at work, so...
  5. Also reading Those Who Save Us, by Jenna Blum. Over halfway through and while I like the premise, the writing is often clunky. Takes something away, but I want to see the conclusion.
  6. The dude was backing away. At the absolute most, the guy could have just brandished his weapon and I'm pretty sure the dude would have backed off. The line for lethal force is a lot further than getting shoved to the ground.
  7. We have a Roku on every TV. Had the Fire TV but it was kinda shitty and we dumped it.
  8. I hate people who wrongfully park in handicapped spots, but in a situation like this, I probably wouldn't care too much. It's a small parking lot for a convenience store, the parking lot is near empty, and the actual handicapped spot was further away from the door than other open spots. Plus, it was a quick in and out situation, where the woman and kids were waiting in the car, so you know they're not going to be there more than a few minutes. This guy was an asshole, period. It shouldn't have happened.
  9. It's not like anyone is asking him to pay for everyone's medical bills, but the right thing to do is to take care of your people.
  10. Husband and I watched this the other day in celebration of the anniversary. It's still sooo good. One of my all time favorite movies.
  11. I just really can't imagine thinking that shooting someone in the chest is an appropriate response to being shoved. But I also don't feel the need to carry a gun at all times.
  12. People didn't give enough of a shit when he bragged about sexually assaulting women on video tape and that was a month before the election. I have little hope in the average American.
  13. I just feel there are other ways to get your insults across without being homophobic or using words that are offensive to groups of people, like "retarded."
  14. Yup, that was the guy. I had a hard time buying his act.
  15. With the exception of a very small number of legitimate exclusives, the Xbox has no games to offer me, since I play on PC and have a PS4 for Sony exclusives. Sunset Overdrive ain't gonna do it. I like having options, too, but when a system doesn't offer me any options, I'm not dropping the money on it.
  16. Nah, nah, this dude was like posting crazy lots he'd find for $20 or whatever, stuff that had really sought-after, pricey SNES games and stuff like that in them.
