I ended up ordering a case for my new watch. It never fails that I end up scratching the glass. I prefer no case, but this one is pretty nice. I’ve always had a case on my phone. I drop it way too often. Always had a case for my iPad, too. I most use it for travel and I don’t want it getting scratched in my bag.

I've never heard of a statute of limitation for murder anywhere here.

Finished the Separate Ways DLC for RE4 remake. Well worth the $10. If I had a dime for every time someone tried to push me to have kids…. Hell, it happened in this very forum a few years ago. I worked with someone new last week and she was asking about my personal life and if I had kids and more than once she made a comment on how I should have them and I’ll change my mind. It gets tiresome.

I remember my Walmart days and there was this couple who came in almost daily with their kids. A baby boy and a little girl, maybe 5 or so. Baby is fine and yeah sometimes he would cry and I get that. But the girl would throw the absolute worst tantrums on a regular basis and it drove me crazy. Just lay out in the floor and scream endlessly. Like, why do you have to do this? One of the parents could just stay home with the kids. Come on.

I love huge, historical epics like this. Follett has plucky heroes you want to root for and the worst villains you love to hate. My favorite so far has been the first, Pillars of the Earth, but I've loved them all and this one is shaping it to be great. I also discovered an older book called Trinity: A Novel of Ireland by Leon Uris and I look forward to starting it in the near future.

I may order my phone toward the end of vacation. I want it soon after I get back. Just gonna be tracking the delivery times prior to ordering.

For the record, I have zero issue with public breastfeeding. I'm just annoying by screaming kids in public spaces. Especially if I'm confined with them, like on a plane.

Okay, I’m IN LOVE with the Snoopy face. I love all the different animations. Didn’t know it did that. Took forever to get it set up this morning. My phone never notified me about upgrading to iOS 17, so I had to do that before connecting the watch and I swear that took an hour.

Oh yeah. Random thought. I love it when Happy casts his yea vote on anything. Just the way he says it, lol. Oh, and I’m having little sympathy for Otto. Dude went through the shit, but murdering that nurse like that…I guess he’s getting what’s coming to him.

I mean, I worked in peds for a number of years, and yeah, I like kids. Just like my own time. It’s more the doofus parents who don’t think or care if they’re little goblins annoy the shit out of the rest of us or think it’s cute.

Jimmy Smits is great. I’m pretty sure I’ve only ever seen him in the third season of Dexter. I also feel for Bobby. He wants to do what’s best for the club and wants Jax to be a different kind of leader. And Jax is just breaking his heart. I’d have been fine with the club voting to Mayhem Clay. That would feel earned. All the betrayal and setting him up really just made me feel a bit of sadness for him, realizing he really has no one now. And he did seem to truly regret a lot of his choices.

My job has trained me well in the art of zen. I’ve been called a dirty peckerwood at least 6 times by my patient tonight. I haven’t reacted.

I wanna be in that water. So pretty. I mean, I wouldn’t have said it that way, but I don’t really disagree with him. I don’t hate kids, but goddamn, some parents are so entitled and think the rest of humanity should have to put up with their obnoxious crotch spawn and I’m just not down for that. I have a slight urge to reach through the internet and strangle xbob right now.

Season 5 done. Motherfuckergoddammitwhatinthenfuckihateitall Fucking cuntbitch Gemma, Jax is turning villain, and I almost feel a little bad for Clay. Feels like it’s all coming apart and the final two seasons are gonna be brutal. Side note: Tig and the dog was one of the most heartwarming things I’ve seen in this show. And dammit, I like Nero. He seems like a legit good guy at his core.

Got my copy of The Armor of Light by Ken Follett today and I started on it at work tonight. Kingsbridge series is probably my favorite of all time and I was really hyped for this. Hoping I can finish it before we fly next Saturday because I really don’t wanna take this data’s book in my carry-on.

Fortunately my husband was home to retrieve it. But yeah, that would be awful. Our neighborhood is pretty good, never had any porch theft.

Of course my watch arrived 20 minutes after I had to leave for work. that’s how it always goes. If it’s something I really want, UPS takes their time delivering.

Jesus, the Ms really are choking this one away.

It’s one of my favorite shows, but it doesn’t need a remake. Too many remakes nowadays.
