I feel like a fucking zombie. Little over an hour to land and I feel like it’s gonna take forever getting outta the airport. I’m gonna crash so hard when we get to our Airbnb.

Well, I probably don’t fly enough to rack up rewards. Once a year has been all I’ve done and starting next year, I’ll probably go up to twice.

We’ve got 2 hours here so we’re gonna find our terminal and grab whatever is close to there because we are a hungry bunch. His friend tried to take a pic of the Hollywood sign coming in and it’s just a blur. 🤣

Couldn’t sleep much last night, we just landed at LAX. I dozed on this flight a little. Now for some real food because our flight leaving Little Rock was late and our Dallas layover didn’t give us enough time to get something before boarding. Fortunately one of our friends brought a big box of power bars so I’m not bad hangry yet.

Left my dog at my parents' yesterday. That was pretty crushing. I went to leave and she was all hyped up, wanting to hop in the truck and my mom had to hold her back. I wanted to cry. But my dad said she's doing well today. Hopefully she adjusts okay. They love her and she's gonna get even more spoiled there. Ready for tomorrow! Wonder if I'll be able to sleep tonight.

Yeah, that ending was wild. I hated the MC, but it was engaging for a day. Had All Hallows for a while, but I’ve been saving it for October.

I finished the Follett book in 4 days. Enjoyed it. Probably my least favorite of the series, but it was still quite good, considering how much a love the others. Read The Stranger Upstairs by Lisa Matlin in one shift, it was short and quick. Now reading All Hallows by Christopher Golden. Spooky season and all.

This morning’s excitement: Got my 101 yr old patient up this morning and earned myself a backhand on the nose and scratches on my arm. Then she lectured me. “Hell is full of people like you. Hell is full of people like you. You’re gonna burn and you’re gonna melt and it’s forever and ever and you’re gonna burn and hear the screams of all the others and their torment. Hell is full of people like you.” Now I’ve had plenty of patients to tell me to “go to hell” in my career, but never in this much detail! She’s gonna kill me during the next two nights. 😩 I come back tonight and she doesn’t remember it but she’s telling an other patient near her that he’s going to Hell because he’s in the recliner covered up under his blanket .

I've never had any real problems with iPhone and I've had the 5, 6, 7, XR, and 12 Pro. I'm not saying anything against Android, it's just personal preference, but when I ditched iPhone for a year in 2015 and got the Galaxy S6, that was the worst phone I ever had and it was because the battery was absolute shite.

I really enjoyed the last three AC games. I've beaten them all and I didn't hate any of them. Least favorite was probably III, I just didn't care for Connor. I really haven't followed this one at all, but I figure I'll play it sometime. Maybe after I beat Spider-Man 2.

Then I don’t quite understand the hero worship for the guy. He may have had some poignant lyrics, but rape kinda overrides all that.
