  1. I give up. Like with the fish thing, you're determined to prove some point and I don't really know why. But I'll just add, you know it's possible to research the practices of some companies, right?
  2. It's an improvement over other practices. My overall point was, and I'll repeat it again, if you know the animals are being treated humanely, what's the objection?
  3. Eh, whatever. It could be better regulated, but it's a lot better than stuffing them into tiny cages or big, dark buildings. I often try to buy eggs from a coworker who raises chickens. She also has beehives and sells honey. My point is, if you know the animals aren't being harmed, I fail to see the issue with consuming eggs and dairy.
  4. Nope, never came outside of Japan. There's a fan translation, though. I have it on my PSTV.
  5. I ate vegan soup for my lunch at work last night. It was pretty good. Lentils, chickpeas, garlic, carrots, etc. I did eat some eggs with breakfast, though they were free range. I try to buy those when possible. I guess I really don't understand the objection to milk and eggs if the animals are free range and treated humanely. I get my organic milk the same way.
  6. I loved the first two games and even bought the third on PSP. got this one preordered on Switch, it seems like a great fit there. Glad to see it's looking good.
  7. I've got Luigi's Mansion and Mario & Luigi preordered as of now. I'm sure I'll end up getting Persona Q2 at some point. Maybe at launch if there's a special edition.
  8. I'm definitely curious to see what happens when it's legalized at the national level. I think it'll happen at some point in my life, I just don't know what the rules will be for those of us in certain professions.
  9. I won't play it til Monday. I refuse to get all excited about it, then have to stop and go to work. It's impossible for me to play games while working 3 in a row. I have no time for anything but sleeping, eating, and showering in between.
  10. I have trouble keeping succulents alive. I wish I could smoke or preferably, have the edibles, but I can't afford to lose my career, so I'll have to either wait for retirement or total legalization with an assurance we could consume it without fear of losing our licenses.
  11. Like I said, you use terms like "murdering fish" and people don't take you seriously, lol. I don't brag about eating the meat, but at least I can admit to consuming animal products obtained responsibly and humanely when I can. That was my overall point.
  12. Not in this thread, you just accused me of murdering fish this time around, lol. People don't really take you seriously when you say stuff like that. I generally eat about one serving of meat a day. We could all technically do more, but not everyone is gonna be passionate about it. My passions lie elsewhere, so I do my part elsewhere. I don't want animals to suffer needlessly, but that's often the reality when billions of omnivores eat. One animal dying to feed another is just nature. I'm not going to trouble myself too much with that aspect of it.
  13. I didn't shit on you, I've repeatedly stated my only issue with you is your attitude of moral superiority for being a vegan. You've shown it repeatedly since you disclosed that about yourself here. You deliberately misuse terms like "murder" to cast aspersions on people who eat meat. Your statements in this thread make it seem like the only way humans can make the world better is by cutting back on meat. I bring up other ways we can cut back and it gets disregarded. I bring up my responsible conduct with my hunting practices, which greatly benefits the environment and it gets ignored and I'm essentially called a murderer. That is literally my only issue with you. No one here shit on you, except Biggie.
  14. And I'm still legit curious about his rationale for supporting sports that depend on animal products, thus supporting the torture of animals.
  15. I might tune into a little bit of the game tonight. Still haven't really been feeling football yet.
  16. Back then, I was playing a ton of GTA, Madden, NFL 2K5, MLB 2005, and NBA 2K5. The GTA games don't hold up today, though I'd be over the moon if Rockstar came out with a remake of Vice City. And I moved past sports games during the PS3 years.
  17. Yep. Somewhere, a cow suffered and had to give up the milk for its calf so you could enjoy your cheese. Evil bastard.
  18. I'm down to 32 games for it. And they're almost all from series I like: Castlevania, Dark Cloud, Fatal Frame, Dragon Quest, Gradius, Shin Megami Tensei, Silent Hill, and Suikoden. Aside from 3 Working Designs games(part of my complete WD set), Clock tower 3, and Star Ocean 3, all my games are from the aforementioned series. I'm just not crazy about the games from that era, outside of established series I know and like. I don't think there are that many gems on it that hold up well today.
  19. I forget how many PS2 systems we have. I know my husband has the slim black model in the closet. We have my original fatty I got for christmas in 2002. It doesn't play CDs. And the system we actually have on the entertainment center is a fatty with a disc drive that doesn't work. It's fine, though, because we have all the games loaded onto a HDD to play that way. I think that's all. Seems like we got rid of the silver slim.
