  1. I'm actually pretty glad Uncharted ended. Before Lost Legacy, they were getting a bit stale. ND needed to explore new territory, anyway.
  2. N64 is easily my least favorite Nintendo home console. I don't count the Virtual Boy. I'd still buy one of these, just to display, because I love Nintendo.
  3. Maybe I'd reading this totally wrong, because I am pretty tired, but the PS2 didn't have a sliding top? It just popped up so you could put your game in. Like the PS1.
  4. Those are probably my most common. Plus, I get repeated calls from someone trying to warn me about a Toyota recall, when I've never bought a Toyota. Oddly enough, my husband owns a Camry, but he's never received the call. I just generally don't answer if I don't recognize the number.
  5. I almost never use cream or sugar. Once in a blue moon, I'll pour in a little International Delight, but that's it.
  6. I tried veal once, just so I could say I did. It was good, but I'm really uncomfortable with how it's procured, so I'll just leave it alone from now on.
  7. I mean, that's a personal preference. I like both series about the same, though I do like the crafting and equipment upgrades that TR lets you do. All I was saying is that if you've played the others, I don't know how you could be disappointed, since this is basically more of the same. You knew what you were getting into when you spent the $63
  8. I'm pretty sure everyone expects them to be releasing one at some point.
  9. As chakoo said, it's kind of a bitch to look this up. But as I also said, my husband is really invested in stuff like this and spends a lot of time on tech forums where people make it part of their lives to know this stuff. PS3 is easy to look up, at least for determining what models had BC: https://support.us.playstation.com/articles/en_US/KC_Article/Play-PSone-and-PlayStation-2-Games-on-a-PlayStation-3 Only 3 of them did. I was already aware of my model using the partial software method. I encountered a couple issues with it.
  10. I'll finish it, but I'm not buying the DLC if I don't care for it. I don't have any major complaints, it's just the game isn't clicking for me. Maybe I'll still be able to get into it. It's probably more the fact I've never been a big Spider-Man fan.
  11. It's Tomb Raider. Have you played the others? If so, I dunno what you were expecting. Thanks for the advice, but I'm competent enough to read a map.
  12. I'm about 10 hours in and really enjoying it. Sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed, because I want to explore everything and I'm afraid I'll miss something.
  13. I really want to fall in love with this game. I read this thread and it makes me all excited to play it. But I'm probably just gonna continue with Tomb Raider tonight.
  14. As chakoo and I have already said, that is simply incorrect in regards to PS2. You are correct on PS3, though, actually only one later fat model had BC. It was the MGS4 bundle. Aside from the launch models, the other fatties didn't have BC.
  15. Most of my knowledge comes from my husband. He spends a lot of time on hardware forums, due to his modding hobby.
  16. I haven't ordered anything since sometime in the Spring. I should be fine. Credit cards have great fraud protection, anyway.
  17. There were countless revisions of the PS2 internals. Only the earlier models used hardware for BC.
  18. PS2 compatibility was removed from the later fatty models. I have the 80GB MGS4 bundle and it uses software-based BC for PS2. Mine still works as well as it did the day I bought it, but I almost never use it for BC. I figure I'll play Chrono Cross on it, since it has some issues on PS1 with the RGB.
  19. I'd wait for a complete list of the games before making that claim. A lot of these games aren't cheap.
  20. Well, the PS1 was a super popular console. And look at how well the NES and SNES Classics have sold. Provided this thing is done well, it's obvious that a ton of people will want it.
  21. 2D sprites look loads better than blurry 3D polygons of the day. We have an extensive RGB setup for our retro consoles and the 3D games are downright gorgeous with it, where the early 3D games are still pretty ugly.
