Better than than the body noises.

The stall doors actually close all the way with no gaps. And most of them I’ve been in have a “privacy” function on the bidet controls that plays a running water sound that covers up any noises you might make.

I greatly appreciative of the more private Japanese toilets.

Husband had a similar problem but he beat me by a day to finally pooping. I was seriously worried, like goddamn, don’t let me end up with a perforated bowel in a foreign country lol.

I started Black House by Stephen King and Peter Straub, but that was on the flight and I haven’t read a word since. No time. We’re out all day and when we get back to the Airbnb we’re all just exhausted and shower and fall asleep.

I fucked up and took a dulcolax the day before we flew. That was Friday. I went once Saturday morning when I got up and that was my last shit until just now. It’s Saturday morning here. I was getting worried I was gonna have to try to find a laxative here and then deal with the effects. I feel much better now.

Did Nara today. Fed the deer a bunch of rice crackers, they nipped my belly and tried to eat my shirt and pants. Greedy bastards. Also did the Todai-Ji temple today and saw the giant Buddha. Really cool cultural site.

Yep. We head to Tokyo on Monday and it’s on the agenda.

The RE thing was by the Spider-man ride. We had to get a timed pass for it. Id love to do the MK ride twice, but the line was already 75 minutes when we got there first thing that morning!

Yeah, Hiroshima was a drastic change from the last few days. But this was probably the thing I wanted to do most on this trip. I had the emotions today. On a lighter note, I mailed my mom a post card. Going to the post office here and figuring that out was an adventure.

Yeah, I been taking naproxen. It’s helping.

Haha, I left it at home. Brought some of my hats, though. They love American sports here. I’ve seen so many Yankees hats. 🤮

I definitely will. It’s just annoying to try and do it on mobile. Going to Hiroshima tomorrow. That’ll be quite the change of pace and tone. But it was one of the things I was gonna insist on doing this trip. Also, it’ll be nice to chill on the Shinkansen after all the walking the last 3 days. My feet need a break.

We did this Biohazard ExtREme “ride” where it was basically taking you through a dark area resembling parts from RE2 and 3 where zombies busted out and chased you and you played light gun with a big Tyrant and how good your group was at shooting depended on whether or not you died. That was great even though we died.

I mean, I did get a few things for a friend who also loves Zelda. And a cool Link statue. It was $47, but worth it.

I spent $286, but yolo lol

Mario Kart ride was great! Really wild, though. We lost to the Koopas.

It’s a big JR station in Osaka where there’s a huge shopping center, including these stores. We just got off the train, went to the 13th floor and shopped, then went up a floor and had dinner. It’s basically a huge mall at a train station.

We made it into Super Nintendo World!

Yep, gonna have to ship stuff back home. Bought way too much in there.
