Yeah, we have wireless 360 controllers for the living room PC. Wired is fine when I'm playing at my desk, which is where I do most of my PC gaming.

God of War is still GotY for me, easily. But RDR is coming soon, and I foresee it taking the top spot.

Super Metroid is frequently ranked among the best games of all time. Since you haven't heard of it, I have no idea what else you're aware of on the system. A lot of games have been made available through the VC service and have had ports on newer systems. Have you ever played A Link to the Past? Normally, I'd assume that'd be a yes, but in light of your posts, I have no idea now.

Be warned, though. This is not a cheap system to buy games for. A lot of the best stuff is also highly sought after and it's pricey.

I've used a wired 360 pad for years now. I haven't really found a reason to make a change. Doesn't really seem like the X1 controller is worth the money to upgrade.

I'm definitely getting into it more now. Some of the side stuff is annoying, though. Really dislike the pigeon stuff.

Nostalgia can be overrated, but the SNES is home to some of the best games ever made. That's just a fact.

God, all of this is infuriating.

Favorite birthday present ever was when my husband bought me a SNES model 2 with Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World. I was 18 and it was our first year of dating. I never had one as a kid and always wanted one.
