Went to Hakone yesterday, shrine, temple, and awesome views of Mt Fuji. I tried sake for the first time and I wasn’t too big a fan. Today, we met some FF14 raid buddies of our friends who are also in Japan, and they were both female and pretty nice. Went to Meiji shrine, out to eat gyudon, where I had a giant beer I wasn’t expecting and saw some good views of Tokyo on high from the Metropolitan observatory. Still have 4 more full days to go, but it does feel like it’s winding down.

He requested his account be nuked a month or so ago.

Did the Dragon Quest bar today and that was good. Also got more games. Don’t wanna think about how much I’ve spent. But the good news is, I feel like I’m mostly done spending on items. Ready to get back to some shrines and temples.

Hell, nah. It’s only a cold. You can buy cold medicine OTC with codeine here, though. Good shit.

All of us in our travel group have been sick with a cold. It’s mostly been mild, but one friend sat out for 2 days of adventuring.

Yeah, I have no idea what I want when I get back. Trying to decide between Spider-Man 2 or Alan Wake 2 when I get home. Ridiculous number of releases.

Spent today in Shibuya, pretty cool seeing all that. Got Mario Wonder and I’m chilling with it now. Tomorrow is back to Akihabara becaus apparently there’s flea markets there on the weekend?

Then I couldn’t have a big house to hold all this shit I have, lol.

Not this Sunday but the next. The 29th. Game is really fun. I’m resting my feet in bed playing it while husband goes searching for more retro games.

Damn, another store here has the game for 5000 yen, about $33. Mother fucker.

Oh, and it only cost me about $43.

It was crowded, lol. But I got a few other items, so it was worth it. TONS of copies.

Apparently midnight releases aren’t really a think in Japan, but we are going to the Nintendo Store in Shibuya tomorrow, so how cool will it be to get it there?

We followed up by going up the Skytree Tower and I got some nice shots of Mt Fuji at sunset from 450m.

Kirby Cafe is awesome. So much food. I’m full.

Don’t think so. I did one a couple times and had perfect holds that just let go. Like, “nope, not getting any more of my coins. Saving these for gachapon. “

Yesterday was a haul for games. Today is the Kirby cafe!

I’m both but I try not to be annoying about it.

I just paid $107 for Dragon Quest X, Detective Pikachu Returns, and Pikmin 4 on Switch. Not bad.

I know, I’m just saying I have never heard of it being used any other way than a simple child’s game.

FF14 cafe today. I’m just along for the ride since I never played that one. Then exploring a bit of Akihabara. We’re still really worn out and gonna go slower for a couple days.

And I always thought peekaboo was a game you played with babies.

The 7-11s here are advertising this game heavily. There’s one right next to to where we’re staying in Tokyo so I may just go there to get it.

Spent the day in Kyoto and that was awesome. Saw the Imperial Palace and some shrines and temples. There’s these books you can buy and have them stamped at shrines and temples and it’s really cool. They do the writing in front of you. I’m filling mine up as I go. Tomorrow we check out of Osaka and take the Shinkansen to Tokyo. 2 weeks to go!
