I don't think I've ever played the bad guy in a game where it gives you the option. It just feels wrong.

I didn't set any rules. I didn't think they were needed, because this thread is for people who read, so I assume they're going to have experience with the books. Some books just aren't that interesting and you don't need to waste your time if you're not enjoying them.

I think people need to have read some of it, but I don't need to go through the thousands of pages of LotR and GoT to know I don't care for them and I enjoy the screen medium better. Sorry, but nope. I made the thread. Plus, I assume that most people posing here in here have read, or at least read part of these books. Duh. It was actually the trailer for the remake that made me want to read the book. Only my third Stephen King book and the first one I've read in probably 15 years, but it was great. However, I probably shouldn't have been reading the gravedigging scene during a lunch break. That was bad.

Alright, I got through chapter one and then some tonight. Did my first bounty hunt. I continue to stand by my gripes from earlier, but I am enjoying the game more now. Kind of a bummer that I'm going to be working 5 of the next 6 nights, immediately followed by a hunting trip. It's gonna be a minute before I get back into the game. The world is impressively detailed, i'll say that. I'm eager to explore it more.

But you have to agree, in then history of this board, this "fight" doesn't even rank.

Good one. Please don't misunderstand me too much. I do pick apart some of the things you say, but it's just in my nature. You're not the only person I've ever done it to. I think you just gave the reason. For the record, I'm not about to tell anyone what they can and can't do in their bedroom. This is 'merica, do what you want. I just pointed out the drawbacks to having a TV in your bedroom, of which science agrees there are multiple. The argument with def definitely made sense, 'til he basically said I shouldn't have responded to his post because he wasn't talking to with at that point. That's when things got weird and, honestly, it felt like he was trying to force a weird argument.
