  1. I think it's safe to say they're not going for the young children demographic.
  2. Daredevil being canceled is the obvious flag they're moving to Disney's streaming service. I really don't want to pay for another streaming service. I have pretty much all the Disney movies I want.
  3. Wait, if you've never played a bit of either game, how can you judge it to be solid? I played a chunk of the first game when it first came out on PS3. It wasn't bad, but something about it just didn't hold my attention. I've got both games on PC, but I've never booted them up.
  4. I killed a deer last week. Nice, big doe, got a lot of meat from her. It was a good, clean shot, too. She didn't suffer. I decided to cut up the meat myself this time, but I don't think I'll do it again. Too much trouble and time. I've always just taken the leg quarters to the butcher to be processed, think I'll stick to that plan.
  5. Beauty and the Beast was great, reviewed pretty well, and made a ton at the box office. I don't really think that's arguable.
  6. I still need to watch the show. I thought the book was good, but I didn't fawn over it like some folks.
  7. The Lion King will be 25 years old when this releases. A remake is fine. And Disney is still doing new stuff all the time. Don't be ridiculous.
  8. I often have dreams where I'm trying to get away from something, but it's like my legs don't work right and I can't move fast. I had a dream about RDR2 last night and it was pretty appropriate that I felt super clunky and slow trying to get away from my aggressors.
  9. Ralph Breaks the Internet - 9/10 As I said in the other thread, I loved the scenes with the Disney Princesses. I'll be getting this one in blu ray, day one.
  10. Just finished watching it and I loved it. The Disney Princess scenes were gold. I loved they retained all the original voice actors where it was possible.
  11. I loved Origins so much. One of my favorite games of the generation and my favorite in the AC series, easily. A lot of it was that I just really loved Ancient Egypt and it was amazing to explore all these locales.
  12. I finally finished Color of Law last night, so my current non-fiction book is Auschwitz, by Laurence Rees. I've actually had this book for about 10 years and never gotten around to reading it, which is odd, considering how much Holocaust stuff I've read over the years and Rees is a fantastic author in regards to this era. Well, better late than never.
  13. So I got these ornaments from Hallmark, they'll also be on display for the entire year in the game room. I'm posting the links, because you need to see the video: https://www.hallmark.com/ornaments/keepsake-ornaments/donkey-kong-ornament-with-light-and-sound-1999QXI2923.html https://www.hallmark.com/ornaments/keepsake-ornaments/the-legend-of-zelda-link-ornament-with-sound-1799QXI2886.html?searchterm=zelda&searchkey=zelda&oq=zelda
  14. It blows my mind that people are fine with the clunky controls and stupid design decisions. I fully expected to drool all over this game and it easily be my favorite game of the year, maybe one of the best of the generation. But small, constant issues can ruin the fun of an otherwise well done game.
  15. I didn't find it that bad, though it's been a minute since I played and I didn't get far. I'll probably play it on Tuesday. I will say I think Origins is better.
  16. I started Small Great Things, by Jodi Piccoult last night. I've had it on my Kindle since last Summer and I wanted to read in bed last night, so I decided to finally go with this.
  17. So it's already not shaping up to be as good as The Witcher 3? I need to play this on my next days off. I still haven't gotten off the first island, though I'm on a mission that will take me away.
  18. Finally got around to watching Ant Man and the Wasp - 8/10 Really fun, lighthearted movie.
  19. I need to play MM, but it'll be the 3DS version. My husband hated it back in the day and he's probably part of the reason I haven't gotten around to it.
  20. I loved Origins and Odyssey is shaping up to be fantastic, but they don't hold a candle to Witcher 3. Not even close.
