I have so many books, that I almost never read what I say I'm gonna read next. I spot something else on my shelf I haven't read and decide to go with that. I finished My Turn at Bat, by Ted Williams. Love baseball biographies and The Kid is probably my favorite of all time. That was book #57 on the year. Now I'm reading Bobby Kennedy: A Raging Spirit, by Chris Matthews and From the War on Poverty to the War on Crime, by Elizabeth Hinton.

What's your point?

As a child who read constantly, I got away from it in my 20s some. The last few years I've renewed my love for reading and it's probably my favorite hobby.

Yeah, I thought about starting one of these up for 2019. I haven't beaten a ton of games this year: Far Cry 5 God of War Persona 5 Shadow of the Tomb Raider Spider-Man Luigi's Mansion That may actually be all. Meanwhile, I've read 56 books and counting!

I thought this has long been known? I've read many an article about not drinking airplane water. I've never done it, I just stick to a Coke in a can or bottle water.

Bale's Batman lacked the scientific and detective skills? Um, did we watch different movies?

I only like multi-player when it's stuff like Smash or Mario Kart, locally, with friends.

We have a ton of retro imports, but not much recent. A handful of DS imports and the only 3DS import we have is Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry's Wonderland 3D. Most of our imports are on older stuff, like Famicom, SFC, Saturn, and PS1. We have a few across Genesis, PC Engine/CD, GBA, Dreamcast, a couple on PS2, one on PSP, one on Game Gear. I think that covers it. And of course, we have imported systems, like the Famicom Disk System, MSX, and Sharp X68000, with a selection of games on each. I haven't really seen any current gen stuff I'd care to import.

Yeah, I don't really know enough of the science behind it, but soft water always makes me feel like I can't get the soap and shampoo off. I have naturally oily hair, so that's a terrible feeling. My skin doesn't get too dry, but I have lotion, anyway. As far as drinking, I don't drink straight from the tap and the water where I live is okay.

We have no male nurses on my floor at night.

I fall way too much with Little Mac, but it feels so good to punch my opponents. Ness and Ike are my other favorites.

I guess it's random. Playing multi-player on my husband's Switch and unlocked him pretty early tonight.

Man, I suck at this game with friends. It's fun, though.

We once had a patient who was a meth addict and he kept going on and on about how high his IQ was and meth opened him up to knowledge that simpletons like us couldn't even dream of. And yet, he was the one lying in a bed, shitting in a diaper, unable to wipe his own ass because of his meth use. Go figure. My coworker actually said those words to him.

Ugh. I bet he was a model, too. Totally.

I say being tortured like that isn't funny and someone laughs. Of course.

Uh, I can't even tell you how many men have sexually harassed/assaulted me in my work as a nurse. Most of them ain't good looking or smooth talking. GTFO with that shit. Just a couple weeks ago, I had a man in his 50s grabbing at my body and repeatedly telling me how he wanted to fuck me in the ass. For 12 hours. I literally had to have 3 security guys come up to help me give him a sedative to stop the madness and even then, he offered me up to them because I "like it in all three holes at once." And it wasn't funny. It was torture. Trying to care for a person and receiving that kind of treatment. It left me horribly shaken.
