That's fine, but most people buy their dogs from breeders in my experience. There are some pure breeds I'd love to have, but I'm not paying hundreds or thousands of dollars for a dog. Found my little mixed breed on Craigslist, she was an accidental pup and they needed to find a good home.

I finished The Dutch Wife, a good WWII novel based on something I wasn't as familiar with: Sex workers in the concentration camps. Not sure what I'm gonna pick up next, but I do need to get back to The War on Poverty/Crime. I'm only in the second chapter. It's a bit more tedious reading than I had anticipated.

Evicted really was a great read. I read it last year and couldn't recommend it enough. Color of Law, by Richard Rothstein is another good read in that vein.

I literally haven't touched this game in two months. I should probably sell it while I get get some good money for it.

Neat, but I ate Taco Bell last week when we got to my parents' and I'm good for another year.

Screw the fact I still haven't played much of RDR2. I want RE2.

I've got a lot of those books on my list

A coworker gave me that one and another called The Dutch Wife. I'm starting the latter tonight, but will be reading the former shortly after. I finished 60 books on the year, not too bad. I also added another 7 books to my collection, courtesy of my parents and brother for Christmas. I'm a happy camper.

10/10 Spenr it with my family, my mom has been in a good mood, got to include my husband this time because our schedules finally matched up, good food, and I got some good stuff.

I don't get games for christmas.

I'm assuming that's a sexual reference, but I really have no desire to have sex in the house with my father present in another room.

Just watched Christmas Vacation with the husband in my old bedroom. Feels like the old days. Also feels kinda weird sleeping in my old room with my husband, since that wasn't allowed when I still lived with my parents before I got married.

I watched both the Home Alone movies this year

At my parents. Tonight, we go to my dad's parents', open gifts, have dinner. Tomorrow we go to my grandma on my mom's side and do the same. Then when my dad is off work tomorrow night, we'll open gifts at the house. Gonna get up and deer hunt the morning after, then head back home.

The only two weddings I've attended in my adult life were long, dull, Catholic affairs that ended in divorce after about a year and one of those friends quit speaking to me after they split, which was weird, because I never knew why. Yeah, weddings suck. Or I'm bad luck.

Currently reading What Happened, by HRC. I bought it when it came out and it's taken me a while to be able to read it. Still painful, though. But it's good to hear her speak candidly. Also reading Victim Six, by Gregg Olsen. A coworker gave me one of the books in the series, but I figured I'd start from the beginning. Sometimes I just enjoy a cheap murder mystery/thriller. If I can finish these two books by the end of the year, that'll make 60 for me.

Well, you people have convinced me. The next show the husband and I will watch together will be The Last Kingdom. Might be after New Year's before we start it, though.

Nice gift. I still plan to make it to Disney one of these days, but I'm a nerd and I usually end up wanting to go to places I can visit historical sites, museums, etc.
