Yeah, the Shaun King tip was in every article I read yesterday. I read The Innocent Man 12 years ago, I've seen plenty of documentaries on police fuck ups. Most of the time, though, they get it right, the investigation just needs to play out.

Glad you came to your senses, but to be fair, the tip coming from Shaun King was thoroughly reported when you were still being a conspiracy theorist.

I'm just trying to see where all the conspiracy-mongering is coming from. Eyewitnesses are notoriously unreliable. I'd be getting the hell outta dodge, too, if bullets were flying around me.

Television Surviving R. Kelly
CastlevaniaNut18 replied to skillzdadirecta's topic in The Performing Arts Centre
They don't even have to be a celebrity. There was a case here several years ago where a black guy raped and murdered a news anchor. It made national headlines. He was convicted of that one. However, when he went to trial for another rape, the jury hung on conviction. It split straight down racial lines. DNA evidence proved the man raped the woman, but the black jurors refused to convict. That's messed up. And prosecutors say this isn't the first time this has happened. https://www.arktimes.com/arkansas/lee-county-justice/Content?oid=1604248 At least the scumbag is serving life without parole, but it sucks his other victim couldn't get her justice. -
So no hate crime, just more senseless gun violence?

Yeah, I'm not remembering having those problems with Goron City. I'm pretty sure there's some way you can get the equipment without paying.

Are you talking about the book by Lynn Vincent? I bought that one a few months back and I still haven't read it yet. I gotta stop buying new books. -

Decided to start The Tattooist of Auschwitz. -
It's easily my favorite 3D Zelda game. Sure, there are some flaws, but I pretty much loved every minute of my 80+ hours with it.

Assault on healthcare workers is a horribly underreported crime. Most people have no idea how bad it is. I love Dr. Zubin Damania(aka, ZDoggMD) for bringing more attention to it.

While I really want to agree with you, unconditionally, I've been assaulted by patients more than once. And they weren't mentally deficient. People are just shitty. More so toward women and women of color probably get it the worst.

Starting the new year off with The Driest Season, by Meghan Kenny. Got it for Christmas and it's a short one. -
I can really only remember one of our chows. His name was Goomba and I remember a generally lazy, lovable, dumb animal. He died the morning of my kindergarten field trip to the zoo. My parents didn't tell me til after we got home that day. But, yeah, I'm aware of the general characteristics of chows.

Seems like everyone around here wants a pure-breed. But then, dogs are often used for specific tasks, like herding or hunting, so that's what people are after. We had some pure-bred dogs when I was growing up, mostly heelers, labs, beagles, chows, and a border collie, but we never paid much for them, because we knew people or they weren't registered with the AKC. My dad actually bred beagles and chows before I was born and when I was very young.

I liked Operation Finale. I ended up buying the book by Hannah Arendt after watching it. -
I mean, you asked, as if I was wrong. I don't know what it's like in California. But living in various areas and having dog-owning friends in other states, yeah, I've never known anyone who bought a dog from a pet store. Breeders are extremely common. If you want a pure-bred dog, you're almost certainly going to be buying from a breeder.
