So I started Spider-Man 2 last night and got a couple hours in and it’s fun as expected. Sucks I gotta work three in a row, but I’ll definitely be playing this weekend. Also just decided to play New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe on Switch. Just been in Nintendo mood and I haven’t really played this since I beat the WiiU original. Since I’m working tonight, I might play a bit of Super Mario World on my Pocket when these patients finally go to sleep.

I just need to get a few gift cards and I’m done. Ready for this to be over.

Yeah, I mean I align with SK's politics, but it took me out of the story at times. Still really enjoyed it, the villains were truly memorable. I gave it 4/5. Looking forward to his short story collection next year.

Yep, I got a copy with my NES back in the day for the first video game I ever owned. For my 18th birthday, my (not then)hubsand got my a SNES with the All Stars + World cart since I never owned the system as a kid. Best birthday present ever.

Finished Iron Flame, still working on Trinity, though. Think I'm gonna start Sterling House by Alix Harrow. Also need to start a nonfiction and I've got Kissinger's Shadow by Greg Gradin lined up.

Thinking I'll start Spider-Man 2 tonight now that I'm done with AW. Made it to World 8 in Mario 3, but I fear I'm about to really start raging at these final levels. I'm sure husband and I will get a few more levels in with Mario Wonder, like we did last night.

It's still plastic straws here, but I didn't have an issue with the paper straws at McD's in Japan.

Alan Wake II - 8/10. Creative with the design and presentation for sure. Story really got wonky and are we now gonna have to wait another 13 years to find out where these characters end up? Dammit. Should be finishing up Alan Wake II today. Could have last night, but I wanted to read a while. Also been playing Super Mario Bros 3 on GBA, I'm in world 7. I've never beaten this one on my own and I'm wondering if I can actually do it now.
