  1. Why are you assuming he hasn't ever played big budget games? He just seems to have a preference and that's fine.
  2. People have different preferences, how crazy is that?
  3. Protip: you're not changing anyone's kind with lame arguments. It's still bad for the consumer.
  4. I feel like The Golden Girls was pretty progressive for its time. But I'll also just never not love that show. It's really the only sitcom I've ever really loved. I don't really consider The Office a sitcom, I guess, but I still love it.
  5. As a female who was coming of age in the late 90s, Friends was terrible. All the girls raved over it and I tried watching it and just wasn't amused.
  6. Yakuza 0 was last night but tonight I'm all about Bayonetta on Switch. Took me a while to get into it but it's a lot of fun. I'll have it beaten here soon. Glad I stuck with it!
  7. Yep. I ain't gonna say he wasn't being a dolt, but it wasn't racial. Castro isn't winning. Period.
  8. As much as it pains me, I really gotta give Dodger the benefit of the doubt here. I don't think he was making it a racial thing. Some people just gotta take the extra mile on their own accord. smh.
  9. Finished ghost Soldiers last night, today I'm starting Tomorrow Will Be Different: Love, Loss, and the Fight for Trans Equality by Sarah McBride.
  10. I'm just selective about what indies I buy for Switch. I don't buy them like I did/do on Steam.
  11. I'll probably pirate it when it comes out. Pearl Harbor is like a guilty pleasure for me. I watch it once every handful of years and get pissed by the stupid romance and historical butchery, but enjoy the action sequences.
  12. That might be partially true for retro games because I'm terrible at them.
  13. Yeah, had no idea about he lunchbox that Target was giving away with the game. We dropped in tonight and the husband picked up a copy and they still had lunchboxes!
  14. I like a mix. Too many AAA games follow a similar formula and feel the same. That's why I can't play every big game that comes along.
  15. K. Jason didn't seem to understand why.
  16. I'm just saying reasons why a person might want that much land, it's not inconceivable, guys. Jeez.
  17. Well, he's stated that he hunts, so that's a real possibility. Some people also have farms. Not everyone wants an urban or suburban lifestyle.
  18. I can assure you he's not. Not how he spells his name and their political views don't even line up, jeeeeez.
  19. As has been said repeatedly in other threads, Epic offers no features. Their store doesn't even have a shopping cart. People who have been on Steam for years appreciate the robust stable of features like achievements, big picture mode, cloud saving, user reviews, community forums, the list goes on and on. Why be forced into using a service that has no features at all?
  20. Like I said, I'm content to wait for fixes, since I've already got other games in progress.
  21. I played it for a few minutes last night, mostly just to test it on Switch. I kinda wish I'd kept my Steam backing. It doesn't feel or look broken, but definitely inferior. I'm working on a couple other games right now, so I'll focus on them and come back to Bloodstained when they do some fixes.
