  1. Looks really good. This has been the only DC character I've been able to care about in this new series.
  2. I’m sure I’d seen bits and pieces in TV over the years, but never actually sat down to watch it all. I missed out on a lot of those 80s and 90s action movies during my childhood. I plan on watching the rest of the series in the coming weeks.
  3. The whole a Star Wars series is a steaming turd. There, I said it. Debate over. Anyway, I watched Die Hard for the first time ever last night. It was actually better than I thought it would be. 8/10.
  4. Luigi's Mansion 3. I've been so bad at consistently playing games for a while now. But I'm really close to this one, so I should have it finished soon.
  5. Misery. 8/10. Yep, this was a better adaptation than The Shining. Kathy Bates earned that Oscar.
  6. You have a weird obsession with this. Yup. That's why fuck McConnell. His negative impacts will be felt for generations after he's dead.
  7. Yup, shit like this here just gets overlooked by everyone and it's so goddamn damaging. McConnell and Trump have really fucked the country. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/12/04/trump-nominee-who-is-anti-ivf-surrogacy-was-deemed-unqualified-she-just-got-confirmed/
  8. P5 is one of my favorite RPGs ever, but I don’t think I can buy this. I spent 105 hours with the game and I just don’t have time to replay long games like that these days with so much other stuff out there.
  9. I will definitely be watching the movie in the near future. Love Kathy Bates. I’m still reading Stalin, but that’s gonna be a slower one, so I also started Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer. It’s the last book of his I needed to read. Also reading Hunted by Darcy Coates on my Kindle. Currently at 60 books on the year, I’m definitely surpassing my total of 61 fro last year.
  10. Excluding handhelds seems dumb, but whatevs. Nintnedo would just have more than 400 million units tacked on. I’ve largely enjoyed Sony systems over the years, though. My second favorite, I'd say.
  11. Just finished Misery. Phew, what a ride. One of his shorter books, but mentally exhausting. Doctor Sleep will probably be the next SK book I read, but I gotta space them out.
  12. I grabbed Axiom Verge with my reward points. Not bad, for only 8 bucks.
  13. Well, I guess the Texans need to win one against NE every decade or so. Still, the offense worries me.
  14. Finished No Second Chance yesterday, so I’m starting Misery by Stephen King today.
  15. I’m going to binge the third season of The Crown here soon.
  16. No, I don’t think it’s fair to release a partial remake of an iconic game like this. I can’t separate Square because they’re the reason this is happening. Also, it’s a big difference between spending $7 at the theater for part one of a story, then spending $7 a year later for the conclusion and $60 for an incomplete remake with the rest coming...someday? Enjoy the game if you want, I don’t think anyone is stupid for it and I never said that.
  17. In a world where 100+ hour massive open world games are released all the time, I’m calling bullshit that a remake of a 30 hour RPG from two decades ago needs to be released in multiple parts. Especially when they’ve been working on it for several years. This is typical of Square. They don’t know how to handle big games anymore. Let’s not be stupid here. maybe if movies were routinely 4-5 hours long you might have a point with your HP analogy.
