I’m starting out 2020 continuing Links’s Awakening on Switch. Hope to have that completed this month. Not a ton I’m looking forward for this year, but the big ones are Animal Crossing and The Last of Us Part II. Probably getting Cyberpunk.

SA was my least favorite in the series from 3 on. It was the only one I never bothered to finish.

As much as I loved GTA3 and Vice City back in the day, they're way too dated to play now. I'd love a remake of VC, though.

I hate smoking and wish it would be eradicated, but it seems weird to me that we’re okay with sending 18 year olds off to war, but they can’t legally smoke, drink, or gamble.

I really like the first two Mummy films. They’re not great or anything, but they’re just really fun flicks to sit down and watch on occasion. I remember seeing the third in theaters and absolutely hating it. The Last Stand was a disaster. Taken really went downhill after the first one. Spider-Man 3, lol. I remember not liking Terminator 3, so I didn’t bother with the movies after that.

Out of the ones I’ve seen, I definitely agree with that list. Most were terrible, though I still liked The Dark Knight Rises. It just wasn’t as good as the other two.

Anyway, yeah, I think we got the reading order nailed down.

Looks like he wrote Sword of Destiny first, then The Last Wish, then the novels. He did write another collection of short stories after he finished the novels, but I read they were mostly inconsequential to the main story. But, yeah, every recommendation is that you start with The Last Wish first.

That's not what I read in all the articles I checked, plus I've already started The Last Wish.

Maybe? I was also confused on where to start, but pretty much every article I read said to read them in that order. I think I also read that those two books were the basis for season one.

I could just be interpreting your post wrong, but Cavill is a huge PC gamer and a fan of the games and the books. He actually campaigned to get the role of Geralt, he's such a big fan. So I think his greatness at the role comes from his Fandom, not that he studied the material just to get good at the role. Again, if you know all this, just disregard me. I could just be reading your post all wrong.

It was my first system, though I didn't get one til '90 or maybe it was '91. It came with Super Mario Bros 3 and two controllers.

I just had the standard TG16 preordered.

I'm using a cart and there's some slowdown, but nothing that messes with my enjoyment of the game.
