Castle Rock, Season 2 - 8/10 I liked this even better than the first, probably because of the strong ties to Misery and Salem’s Lot, both books I loved. Lizzie Caplan really dials it up and channels Kathy Bates in this. The ending...talk about gutting your emotions. Joker - I’m really not sure how to rate this. Joaquin Phoenix was great, really got into the role. It was beautifully shot in places. But at the end, I felt...uncomfortable with the messaging. Really mixed feelings on this one.

I turn mine off. It only takes about 13 seconds to start up.

I'm actually one of those people who does PC game at my desk the majority of the time. But I have crap vision and I prefer sitting closer to my screen with certain games. I do play on the game room PC occasionally, though.

I like reading them, then binging the movies immediately after.

Finally watched it. I’m o mother same page as a lot of others. Phoenix was great, but the messaging felt muddled. I’m not going to say it was bad, but I’m not quite sure how I feel after that. And I won’t be watching it again any time soon. Actually, you know what? I think I’m gonna watch Downton Abbey this weekend, @skillzdadirecta

I canceled my preorder for Tokyo Mirage. I still want it at some point, but I decided to save money for now because I’m not going to play it soon.

I decided to reread the Harry Potter series. It’s been more than two years and I’m in the right mood for it.

I guess I don’t understand Windows updates being intrusive and interfering with normal usage. I use my PC every single day and shut it down at the end of the night. If there’s an update, it does does it when I tell it to shut down for the night and it’s good to go when I boot it up the next day. I’ve never gone to boot up a game and been like “damn, gotta wait for this update.” PS4 updates seem to be frequent, but that could also be because I rarely use the system these days, so every time I turn it on, it’s been a few months or longer and it needs a damn update.

I hate having to wait 45 minutes for my PS4 to update so I can play a game or log into PSN. Despite the fact that my internet is 300mbps and it’s through Ethernet.

This really bums me. One of their best shows. But I agree with those opinions regarding The Last Kingdom.

This has hardly ever happened to me, but whatever works for you.

There are still some reasons for wanting a console I can understand. But the rationale of “I just wanna turn on the box and start playing” died years ago.

I don't get how people think PCs are so complicated.

Animal Crossing is one of my most anticipated releases this year.

This makes me happy. now I can wait for the 30xx series to upgrade.

Unless a PC port is broken, I'm always going to play on PC. If Sony released all their games on PC, I wouldn't even have a need for a PS5. Of course, I'll get something on Switch if there's no real performance sacrifice and it's something I'd like to play portable, too.

Well, that makes me decision easy!
