Eh, there's endless forms of entertainment. If money weren't a factor, I'd be happy to be quarantined for two weeks with my books alone.

It'll be weird seeing Brady in another uniform, but it's his choice. Honestly, he should have called it a career by now. I hate seeing great players push themselves too long.

I have to work tonight and tomorrow, I'm glad they're not releasing it early. Got a 4 day stretch off starting Thursday and the husband is having friends over for Borderlands 3(since it's on Steam now), so I know what I'll be doing this weekend.

Outside of Nintendo, I don't get excited about new consoles anymore. Sony and MS just introduce somewhat beefier versions of the last console and the cycle goes on. Returns are diminishing. I'm reasonably sure I'll get a PS5 at some point, but now that Sony is putting games on Steam...the desire is lessened some. Certainly not going to at or near launch. I'm mostly just curious about price point.

Since you said you already had them, I won’t give you shit. You’re not hurting anything. But to everyone else, please stop buying these things in bulk and stealing them from hospitals. Facilities, including mine, are legit running out of the things. This includes basic masks. We’re having to ration them at work. Never seen anything like it. Just practicing hand hygiene and covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze will do more than anything. And minimizing your public excursions, especially if you’re symptomatic.

I mean, it’s somewhat of a barrier. But the entire point of those ungodly masks is that they create a seal of sorts. That’s why they’re used for airborne precautions and simple masks are used for droplet. Every health care worker dreads getting fit tested for those fuckers.

Work was surprisingly calm. I work on a 40 bed unit and we're generally always at capacity. We kept a handful of open beds last night. I think there's 7 people in the whole hospital with pending tests, but none have been positive so far. Docs are declining to admit a lot of patients. Basically telling people unless it's dire, don't come. So our usual drug seeking crowd has been denied. Wish we could do that all the fucking time. I was charge last night and I did have chase off some idiots who chose to ignore the 40 or so signs they passed informing them of visitor restrictions in place.

I kept my dentist appt today. They're having people fill out a screening form and checking temps at least.

The churches my grandmothers go to have all canceled services.

I can eat 'em all day. 4 pounds gone in a flash. I was mostly stocked on essentials. We've got plenty of dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaning wipes, bleach, stuff like that. Got 5 mega rolls of Charmin left and that should be good for another couple weeks, factoring in the bidet. The store has zero TP, zero dish soap, hardly any laundry detergent, basically no cleaning supplies. We did manage to grab pack of tissues, we were out of those. Eggs, canned goods, meats, bread, all that was decimated. Couldn't find a can of pinto beans for my soup tonight, so I'll just double up on the kidney beans. Just aisle after aisle was decimated. I've never seen anything like it. I was fairly well stocked on most food stuff, too. This shit has just gone way overboard.

I went out to eat crawfish yesterday with an old friend who I haven’t seen in a while.

I've got to go grocery shopping today. We've done online ordering for the past couple years or so, but when we tried to place our order last night, there were no available slots for pickup today. I've never even seen a single hour slot be unavailable. Fucking dreading this. I already hate going into the store on a normal day. Fucking dumb ass people.

Finished Louding Voice last night, what an uplifting read. Now I’ve switched gears and started Devil’s Punchbowl by Greg Iles. I’m really liking this author.

We’re paying $60 for 300 Mbps through Comcast. No TV package because it’s not worth it. I sub to Netflix and Hulu, and sometimes HBO when I want to binge something. A small number of shows/movies are torrented, because fuck it.

They're apples and oranges. I love both series, though each has some really high highs and some pretty low lows. That said, I'm pretty skeptical of this. Team Silent broke up after SH4. I'd be delighted if it becomes true, but I won't hold my breath.

Makes me more glad we got a bidet last year. We're in good shape regarding TP in my house, at least.
