I don’t like sweet drinks. I only drink beer when I do drink. There some local brews I like that are flavored with a bit of fruit, my favorite is called Strawberry Blonde by Diamond Bear brewing. It’s just a pale ale with a hint of strawberry. There’s a blackberry one from another brewery I like, too.

I will eat cold fries. Just as long as they aren’t soggy. Any hard liquor is disgusting. I will straight up gag if I drink it. Wine is pretty gross, too.

I do. Just for fun. 100/55 for 2020. I don’t know that I’ll read that much this year, so I set my goal to 65 just to start off. Starting off the year with Sword of Kings by Bernard Cornwell. I want to wrap up this excellent series.

I don’t really make plans regarding what I’ll read, watch, or play that far in advance. Just depends on my mood. I’ll definitely finish AC Valhalla this year, then I’ll likely play the Mafia Remaster. Beyond that, I dunno. I’ve got literally hundreds of choices. I’d like to go through Dragon Quest XI.

I mean, he was Latino, so I’m not sure it’s something only Arkansans do. He was chill, laid up in bed all night watching anime.

Thankfully, I don't work in trauma. Though one of my patients last night was a 23 year old who had his colon ruptured ina Christmas Day fight with his brother.

I mean, I would be more offended, but it's Milo. I did enjoy a bit of a petty power trip over this one patient earlier this week. It's a woman, though. She's a frequent flier and a truly awful human being. She's never discharged for more than a few days before coming right back because she's noncompliant. She has the worst ileostomy ever. Leaks constantly and she wants to act helpless and make us take care of it. She fucking goes home and downs laxatives to make it pour out and throw her lytes out of whack. Most of us refuse and make her do it herself. Problem is, she wants to constantly eat and drink, making the output even higher. So we usually decline to give her much on night shift. I'm already pissed because she called me a bitch and falsely accused me of punching her and she's calling out for more ice water at 3am. Her nurse is on break, so I explain to her why she doesn't need the extra fluids in the middle of the night. She gets pissed. I take her a cup with about 2 tsp of ice in it, set it on the table and walk away without a word. It was kinda funny. But that's probably the meanest I've ever been. If you had the misfortune of caring for this awful human being, you'd commend me on my restraint!

I've got two books left in the Saxon Tales. Warriors of the Storm was really good, lot of big events there for Uhtred. I just finished War of the Wolf and it was maybe my favorite. I might made Sword King my first read of 2021. I love this series and I'm eager to see how it ends.

So I finished Memorial super quick. Gonna try to see if I can’t squeeze in one more short book before tomorrow at midnight to make it an even 100 for the year. Transcendent Kingdom by Yaa Gyasi.

Now reading Memorial by Bryan Washington. Not sure I can finish it before New Year's but I can't very well go much more than a day without reading, so I started a new one. I'm just trying to get some shorter books outo f the way and make room on my TBR shelf, because it's overflowing.

For the life of me, I cannot get villager photos. I give my favorites gifts all the time, including wrapped fossils. A couple of them have called me their BFF. No damn photos. Also, I hit the 300 balloon milestone almost two weeks ago and I’ve yet to get a golden balloon for the slingshot DIY.

Guess I’ll try to look for it when I watch it again. I don’t recall that at all.

I really don't care for Sonic burgers. Those are the only ones I've ever felt sick after eating. I've never been a fan of Mcdonald's burgers. On the rare occasion I eat there, I get the nuggets, which are also pretty bland. I really only ever eat there when I visit my family, since there's hardly shit to eat in that town.
