  1. Watched all the episodes so far, I’m definitely more interested than I was going in. It’s definitely coming together, but I still don’t know where the kids came from, how she resurrected Vision, and how Quicksilver is there. And that version of him. Are they just changing the actor now since X-men is merging in with the MCU?
  2. People may call you many names, but I think it's safe to say "nerd" will never be on the list.
  3. Done with War Lord. That was a good ending to what has become one of my favorite series. I'm going to start The Sun Does Shine by Anthony Ray Hinton today. It’s a memoir of a guy who was wrongfully convicted of murder and spent almost 30 years on death row before being exonerated.
  4. Books. I read 100 last year. Historically it’s kind of fluctuated but for the last couple years, video games have taken a back seat to reading. I still play games fairly regularly, though. Just not as much as I used to. I’m not that big on movies and TV. I do watch some, but it’s more intermittent.
  5. I'm not that social. But when I do/did go out, it's always coworkers, so it's a pretty mixed group of black and white. With a little Mexican thrown in.
  6. Finished Tightrope, now starting War Lord by Bernard Cornwell. Time to say goodbye to Uhtred.
  7. I liked almond milk, but had a bad experience and haven't drank it in years. I'm still on dairy. Probably always will be.
  8. I'll be playing more AC Valhalla today. Played last night and it kept crashing. Like four times in under two hours. It's never been that bad.
  9. Me. My deconversion happened in the early days of this forum and I discussed it at length. As far as I know, I remain the only atheist in a deeply religious family. My husband was the same. He just stopped believing in his teens instead of 20s. A lot of atheists have these stories.
  10. I decided to power through and finish The Stand before going back to work. Holy shit, that was amazing. Some top tier SK right there. Took me right at 4 weeks to get through it, so not too bad. I really enjoyed the character development and honestly, I liked the ending, which is always something SK struggles with. I'm glad I finally got around to this. I do think I'm gonna read some shorter books for a bit, though. Need to whittle down my TBR shelf. My planned next fiction will be War Lord. Gotta wrap up the Saxon Tales. I think I want to finish Tightrope first, though.
  11. Down to the last 300 pages in The Stand. This has been a really great time. My current nonfiction is Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope by Nicholas D. Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn.
  12. I love this guy. My husband took me to see them for my birthday when they came to our city and I have a signed copy of their book.
  13. I ended up going with the Apex Steelseries 5. Per another recommendation. Just got it in, but I really like it.
  14. God of War and Resident Evil are the only ones I can think of. I'm not really keeping up, as I've got plenty to play as it is.
  15. Ironically it seems the states with fewer pandemic restrictions are getting more vaccine delivered to people.
