  1. Thanks for acknowledging how terrible you used to be toward me. I think the two posts you're referencing now are quite mild by comparison, but I'm sorry I upset you. You're still being pretty passive aggressive toward me with that last sentence and your approval of Biggie's mean-spirited post, but I'm not going to worry too much about it.
  2. Honestly, have you followed Best's posts over the years?
  3. Have you read the Bible and see how petty and harsh Yahweh is? Yeah...like even if I could believe in a god, that one is like one of the worst.
  4. Yeah, well, I'm not gonna stop washing my hair and go around with the hair of a greaser while I wait and see it it works. Not a good look for the job.
  5. I just can't... This whole notion of "sin" is stupid. I look back now and wondered how I was able to believe that nonsense and I'm thrilled I got away from it.
  6. I find it weirdly satisfying to take out the braids, so I have some coworkers who let me assist them when they're ready to come out. I bitch about my hair because it's so oily and I have to wash it daily, but I realize I should be glad that's all I have to do. If I were Black, I'd continue to be lazy and just let the natural hair fly, because no way do I have patience to sit in a chair that long and have my hair messed with. But really, I never understood why white people get so worked up over Black hair. Let it be. As long as you're not coming to work all smelly or whatever, I don't care. I think dreads are generally cool. We have this GI doctor, he's a really good looking guy, maybe he's pushing 50, I'm not certain. But he's had these long dreads for like 20 years he said. He's super tall and he stands out. I love it. I'd go to him any time. He came in the other morning and if it weren't for his height, I might not have recognized him right away because he'd finally cut the dreads off. Said it was the first time in 20 years or so.
  7. I played it twice. At launch on PS3 then again when it released on PC. It's good and all, but two times through was enough. I'd like to see GTA6 and go back to Vice City.
  8. I hate that I have to work three in a row. Gives me no time for the game, so I have to wait til Friday. I got done with the castle last night, ready to move on to the next area.
  9. Sooley by John Grisham. It’s a basketball book and it’s pretty good. Going to start Life After Death by Damien Echols for my nonfiction.
  10. I need to upgrade my CPU/mobo, but the CPU I want is really hard to find and I'm not in a huge rush. It limits me a bit, but I'm still getting like 120 FPS in RE8 with RT and everything maxed at 1440p.
  11. Low staffing and shitty patients/family members.
  12. PC by a lot. Even when I get a PS5, my PC will still be way ahead.
  13. This has been an interesting discussion. I learned a few new things.
  14. So for some reason, I can't do Ray Tracing in the game. Anyone else had this problem? It just saying my hardware configuration prevents me. Doesn't make any sense. Haven't had this problem with any other game.
  15. That's what investigations are for. Also, I recall reading where even if you're arrested, but charges are dismissed, it's still on your record. I've read about people wrongly arrested and they've still had to hire a lawyer to get the record expunged because it's prevented them from getting jobs and such. I can't imagine burdening innocent people like this.
  16. Yeah, we should totally put the burden on someone for defending themselves. Let's screw up a woman's life and force her to hire attorneys and go through the trauma of a trial when it's a cut and dry case of self defense. What nonsense.
