    I don't give a shit about MS, but Metroid Dread just made my day. I want a Pro, but with hardware shortages now, it'd just be an exercise in extreme frustration. I'm happy with what Nintendo showed. I get Metroid and MegaTen this Fall. That's a damn good time. I'm also wanting the Advance Wars remake, though I do have CIB copies on GBA.

    I really enjoyed One Last Stop. It was funny and romantic and I enjoyed the quirky cast of queer characters. Now I'm majorly shifting gears and starting The Long Walk by Stephen King(written under the Richard Bachman psuedonym).

    Green Mile was fantastic. I'm glad I somehow remained largely unspoiled for that one. Next up, I'm reading One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. It's a new release and why not read a queer romance for Pride Month? I loved her prior book. Getting back around to nonfiction, I'm also starting All the Shah's Men by Stephen Kinzer.

    I'm really enjoying Dragon Quest VIII, so more of that tonight. I'm having my husband hack my 3DS so I can have the orchestral sound, because the midi stuff is pitiful in comparison.

    I've always heard the phrase "trespassers will be shot" but seeing someone double down on the idea of shooting someone who is posing no threat to you, just simply being on your property and they think the law will protect them was really...something.
