Finally started playing a new game: No More Heroes on Switch. I played it a bit on Wii when it first released, but not much.

I'm sort of getting to the point where I just wanna say fuck it. I'll still vote, but otherwise I just wanna focus on my life and my financial gains because I'll lose my sanity if I get too invested in politics in this shit country.

I dunno, I still have a pretty good time laughing about the coworker who insists the USSR was a submarine and Mexico is part of South America. The other alternative is crying.

I should get around to getting my booster. Maybe in a couple weeks.

I don't do parties, nor do I dress up. I just love the atmosphere around it and take advantage of the full month to live it up.

Yeah, nothing about this conversation has stirred my deeply buried(nonexistent?) maternal desires.

I don't really get arguing over the phone stuff. Except for my first year or so of owning a smartphone in 2010 and a yearlong detour in 2016, I've been with Apple. I've never had a problem with it doing what I need it to do and I like the aesthetics of their phones in general. I'll upgrade every couple years or so. But I can't say I really ever give it a thought when someone has an Android phone, except for the initial reminder of the green bubble. Not really an Apple fan, but I'm invested enough in the ecosystem with the watch and an iPad, and I've just never had any motivation to change. Eh. Whatevs.

Outlander, S1 8/10 I actually think I’m enjoying the show more than I did the book. Of course, having a red-headed Highlander with that sexy accent helps a ton. I think I might hold off on starting the second season for a bit, trying to decide if I wanna attempt the second book first. Halloween Kills 5/10 Pretty forgettable. It just felt inconsistent. I am eager to see the final showdown next year, though.
