    Current reads: The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany by William L Shirer. This one will probably take me a while. But it's been on my shelf for like 5 years, so I'm way overdue. 11/22/63 by Stephen King. Another I've been meaning to read for a while. Let's see what all the hype is about.

    My grandma used the word "colored" last night when I was visiting. I've heard her use it on occasion. I just figured it's a holdover due to her age. I cannot recall a time where's she's actually given an opinion on racial issues. But I hear my dad use the n-word regularly and I still cringe at that.

    Yep, Caste should be an essential read for everyone. Powerful book. I blew through Razorblade Tears, this is probably my BOTY. What a brutal, yet emotional story. Now reading Countdown: Bin Laden by Chris Wallace and Survive the Night by Riley Sager.
