So they can’t hunt til they’re legally adults? Nah. History doesn’t agree. Again, I was shooting a little rifle at age 6, like countless others who grew up like I did, with no problems. Teach them young, if you’re going to have them around. What you’re suggesting simply isn’t realistic.

I’m not saying 15 year olds need unfettered access to handguns, but keeping guns from even being touched until a person turns 18 doesn’t make much sense. Keep them away, then they’re supposed to know how to properly handle them when they turn 18? Nah.

It happened when bolting shells into the chamber both times. Something must have jarred the firing pin. Once was outdoors when getting ready to shoot, but the other time was in the house and I was standing right next to it. Put a hole in the ceiling. These things can always happen. They're rare, but it's possible. That's why you practice proper gun safety and always have it aimed away from a person.

I've been near two accidental discharges with rifles in my life. The hand wasn't even on the trigger guard. I dunno what type of gun was used here.

I still can't imagine living in a place like California. I don't really wanna give up my lifestyle with the ridiculous cost of living there. I can at least take comfort in knowing if I ever needed abortion access, I could afford to travel there to get it done.

I wrapped up 11/22/63 yesterday. I think I've found a new favorite. Definitely gonna be watching the show. Still working on Rise and Fall, at nearly 1200 pages, I'll be on it for the foreseeable future. Started Falling by TJ Newman today. Trying to whittle down my TBR with some quick reads. -
What a fucking shithole country. Love that Justice Handmaiden is gonna get to decide what I can do with my body.

I still watch all of it, though I'm not as in a big rush these days. Only one I haven't seen was What If. I watched a couple episodes, then just got bored. Will be starting Hawkeye soon.

I doubt he's actually taking nursing classes at this point. And you have to be accepted into a program. Nursing is just as much about character as it is good grades and he clearly doesn't have the character to be a nurse. Who would want to hire him? But as for college in general, he should be allowed to take online classes.
