  1. Gonna finish up the side stuff in Miles Morales tonight and then give Kirby a go.
  2. Somebody’s Daughter by Ashley C Ford. I’m not usually into memoirs, but this one appealed to me and it was a BOTM choice. Black woman who grew up without her father because he was incarcerated. Im still working my way through Powers and Thrones. Trying to decide what my next fiction will be.
  3. @SaysWho?, thanks. I knew it said something like that, but I was tired after my third shift and didn’t care enough to search it this morning. It’s so weird when strangers try to tell you your own beliefs.
  4. Pretty sure I know my beliefs better than you. Also, doesn’t the Bible say something about being ostentatious with prayer?
  5. Even when I was religious, I always found overt displays uncomfortable.
  6. Hogs advanced to the Elite 8 tonight. I don’t follow college ball consistently, but I really need to get up to Fayetteville to see a game sometime. Haven’t been since I was a kid.
  7. Where are you? Because I don’t have most of those issues in my city. Roads can definitely be an issues, but I also hated the damn roads when we drove them in New England last year.
  8. I’m about to be off work for a nice stretch, so I’m looking forward to spending some time with this one.
  9. Working my way through his entire collection. I’ve read over 30 at this point. Dark Tower is probably last on my list.
  10. Spider-Man: Miles Morales 9/10 My first PS5 game and it was a blast.
  11. Batman: The Long Halloween - 9/10 Yeah, this was great. I read th graphic novel some years ago, but I’ve hardly watched any of the animated movies. I’m gonna work on that.
  12. I still haven't gotten it. Seems crazy. And yeah, other than a few dive bars, I don't know where you can still smoke indoors. It's been a long time.
  13. More Spider-Man: Miles Morales. I'm over halfway through. It's a ton of fun.
  14. Oshawott. I'm usually a fire girl, but I do water on occasion.
  15. Gerald's Game might have been the most uncomfortable I've ever been reading a book. Yes, it was good, but I don't think I'll be revisiting that one. Changed gears and started The Things We Cannot Say by Kelly Rimmer.
  16. We got some of those victims last night. It’s batshit. That’s a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. I go down around there fishing with my parents in the summer. They have a Walmart and not much else.
  17. I’ve got a decent few of those, but I’ll probably buy it this weekend just for the cause.
  18. Video games, reading, history, following sports, exercise, hunting. Nothing really out there. I read around 100 books a year, which is probably a bit odd, considering how much the average person reads.
  19. I just got mine a week ago and my initial picks were Miles Morales: Ultimate Launch Edition, Final Fantasy VII Intergrade, and Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart.
  20. I can do more to separate the art from the artist with long dead people who are no longer profiting from their works. Like Edgar Allan Poe for example. Again, I'm not going to criticize anyone for buying and enjoying the game. It's just a personal decision for me, as I have strong feelings regarding the LGBT community. I know there are a lot of deplorable people out there and I technically support them buy buying products and just participating in society in general. But I really feel strongly about the damage she's doing with her statements and it doesn't bother me one bit to not actively support her and buy some things used.
  21. We've been doing that for a while. But, yeah, stopping now that the weather is warming. We do it on both our PCs, but I really don't know how much he's made. Bitcoin is definitely his thing.
  22. What in the actual fuck. Hate crime charge for teen recorded whipping classmate WWW.NBCNEWS.COM A 15-year-old freshman at a high school in Houma, Louisiana, was accused of throwing cotton balls at a Black student and whipping him with his belt.
  23. It's like a spiritual sequel to Until Dawn. I liked that game for a single playthrough, so I'm down for this. I'll get it on PS5, since I'd rather have it on the 65" OLED than my 28" monitor.
