Patch notes are out. 

Notable things:

Tractor Cannon’s weaken effect includes all damage types now, but no longer stacks with other debuffs. 

Boxed Breathing was indeed nerfed. It resets after firing first shot.

I'm not sure how to use discord, I can't connect my PSN ID. Is that just a PC and XBOX thing?

The discord that we all use is just for PC users. That isn’t to say that there isn’t a PS4 specific server. I just don’t know what it is. It is certainly easier on PC and XBox because they have the built in integration.

So I read a theory on reddit the other day regarding your chances getting better after beating each EP boss. In order for this to work you have to beat the EP once and open the chest and then your chances of getting the weapons start getting better. Last night we beat the boss 5 times without opening the chest an only one person got the shotty. We mistakenly killed the boss a second too early on our 6th try and we opened the chest and restarted the EP. Every time we killed the boss after that someone got the shotty.  Whether that theory is correct I'm not sure but after last night it might be possible.

To add a data point, I never “farmed” the boss and always just completed lvl 7. Shotty dropped after the 6th or 7th completion.

Just a heads up that @Triage will be working hard to finish up the requirements for that purple solstice armor tonight. If anybody can help her out I’m sure she would appreciate it.

I’d love a free shirt as much as the next guardian but that would some serious financial hurt on Bungie. I’d rather they put that $$ into game development than a low quality shirt. 

People buy them though, myself included. I bought the past two shirts but decided to pass on this one. They were all over PAX last year. I imagine there will be far less this year though.

Yes they are all combined into this one. If you want to mark it as console specific there is a way to add an Xbox, PlayStation or other tag to your topic.

I’m probably not the best source of EP details. I don’t know anything about resetting it. @mo1518 might know more about that. All I know is that chests drop at lvl 5 and 7. EP guns can drop without the key but armor drops only if you have one. So if the guns are your only goal then you don’t need to worry about getting keys. 

When we we had a group last time we just went to lvl 7 each time then restarted from lvl 1.

We were farming EP over the weekend and I did not find that to be the case. I believe you only get fragments from other activities like strikes, nightfalls, the raid etc.

I should clarify thst that I have no personal issue with any of these. Putting them all together as a whole though clearly shows that they wanted this movie to be extra popular in that market.

This was a stupid movie and I enjoyed it because of that. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed/laughed at it too. Fun times.

I always hear/read that a lot of summer popcorn movies are made for the China market but this one was the most transparent example of that.

I've enjoyed every season thus far and they just keep getting better. Glad that this one is a full 13 episodes.

Advantage of having kids: My son started up a Titan on my PC account to only play through the story. Now I don't have to go through it again! 

RE Save room was the first thing that came to mind for me as well. 

About the first day or two I genuinely felt bad for the guy when it was all about the Dead Cells review. Post “apology” and the fallout...I have zero feel bads.

I didn't Anzo. I think I'm not using the app properly cause I would join then get the in app notification that my fireteam was ready to go but I'd never get invited. Happened twice last night so I gave up. After joining, isn't the leader supposed to send me an invite in the game?

 

BTW: He's just Tom. His in game name was short for Thomas which he regrets using.
